Kagome's POV

Kagome and Inuyasha sat at the dining table along with her mom, grandpa and Sota. She held a cup of Chamomile tea in her hands, gazing down into the honey-colored liquid.

Her family was shocked to hear the news, but she knew there was nothing they could do. Afterall, she was the only one that could travel to fuedal Japan.

Inuyasha growled quietly beside her, clenching and unclenching his fist in frustration.

"Do you want to stay here for a bit?" Her mom murmured softly, placing a hand on Kagome's shoulder.

However much she knew that she needed to save Y/n, she just couldn't handle the grief in her heart. She felt as though she couldn't move or speak, but without looking up, she managed to give her mother a small nod.

Inuyasha made no complaint, which normally would've surprised her, but she couldn't feel anything but emptiness.

The room was quiet. Even Buyo, who was normally noisy and got into trouble, seemed to sense the despair and stayed still, making no noise to disrupt the silence.

Kagome sighed quietly. Why did she let Y/n go off on her own?

Shippo's POV

Shippo hung back, allowing Miroku, Kaede and Sango to come up with a plan.

He worried greatly for Y/n, and he worried for Kagome. The girl's older sister hadn't spoken a word since they found out, and she no longer seemed capable of helping herself.

The young fox sniffed, wishing that the two sisters were back here, even Inuyasha. But until they had a plan, and Kagome and Inuyasha had returned, there was no hope of freeing Y/n from Naraku's grip.

Your POV

You were glad when Naraku had left, though something in your mind told you that he noticed your shoulders relax when he had backed up.

You shivered. You knew very well that you were fine with the closeness, no matter how much he was a danger to you, your sister and your friends, but you never handled physical contact well. You didn't mind hugs, or being carried, but anything else made you tense.

Would he somehow use that to his advantage? You wondered, pacing the room. You silently thanked him for at least giving you space, but you'd never say it out loud.

You spun the silver ring around your finger, distracting you slightly. You always made sure to have a ring or a necklace on you, you never knew when anxiety would kick in and you'd start fidgeting. Originally, you used to tear at your neck, so much so that you eventually tore it opening at the dinner table and Mom had went to the store the next day to find something to prevent it.

You huffed. Mom... She must be so worried by now. I'm sorry, you thought, clenching your teeth.

You wished with all your heart you hadn't gone off on your own. But there was nothing you could do to turn back the tides of time...

Naraku's POV

Naraku had thought about earlier and soon came up with an answer. Y/n was bothered by touch, she couldn't care how close or far away he was. It was touch that drove her crazy, that made her tense up as she had done earlier.

Naraku smirked. He could use this knowledge to his advantage. But how?
