Ready? Action!

Ollie's P.O.V.

"Hey, Jaaackkkkk!" I holler as I stroll through the boys' dorm, "Jaaaackkkk! Jacky, Jack, Jaaaackkkkk!"

I round the corner, slamming straight into Jack. "Jack! I was looking for you!"

"Yeah, I could hear you." he steps back and brushes down his clothes. "How can I help you?"

"Well, you see," I pause, do I remember exactly what I'm supposed to say? Honestly,  not really. "Actually, you won't see or hear now, but follow me and you will!"

He blinks at me, "Umm.... whaaat?"

I open my mouth, ready to repeat. 

"You know what? Never mind, lead the way!" he waves his hand in a random direction.

"Alrighty! Let's go!" I say cheerily, turning tail and marching back down the hallway. "Sorry, wrong direction, this way!" I turn back around, nudging Jack to start moving.

"Ollie! Jack!" Maxine grins, waving her arms as we enter the library.

Princess Belle clears her throat, looking over at them.

"Sorry!" 

Kayla looks up from her paper, "I'm gonna assume you told Jack everything already?"

"Umm, actually, about that..." I trail off, scratching the back of my head. "I might've forgotten what exactly I'm supposed to say?"

I'm met with a table of blank stares - apart from Jocelyn, she looks like she couldn't care less about this.

"In short," Jocelyn begins, "They want to get their otp together."

"Their what?" an incredulous Jack repeats.

"Otp, one true pairing, ship, moving on." she waves her hand in Kayla's direction.

"Umm, yeah, that." Kayla clears her throat, "We need you to help us get them together,"

"Uhh... get who?" 

"Jax and Gilly!" I jump in, I may have forgotten what I was supposed to tell Jack but this I do remember.

"Ok, and.... what am I supposed to be doing now?"

"We need you to make Jax jealous."

Jax's P.O.V.

I dash through the hallways, darting in and out of rooms as I try to find the rest of the gang. Where'd they go? 

I poke my head into the library, quickly scanning the area. Nope, still can't find them. I turn, ready to continue my search elsewhere when I hear a familiar voice. 

"Hey, Gilly! Watcha doing?" Jack's voice rings out loud and clear.

I stop in my tracks, slowly turning around and backing up until I'm hiding behind one of the many large bookshelves.

"Trying to complete this stupid assignment," Gilly grumbles in reply.

"Oh, what's it on?"

"Something to do with giants, I don't even remember at this point."

"Do you want some help? I've got a pretty extensive knowledge on giants."

"Sure, thanks. I'd probably end up failing this if you didn't offer."

I squint, trying peek between books to see them. Someone taps on my shoulder. I jump backwards, whipping my head around. 

"Umm... what are you doing?" Kayla asks, staring at the spot I had my eye on.

"Uh, nothing. Just... trying to see if there was something on the book. Apparently not, so umm, where were you guys?" I say quickly.

Kayla shrugs, "Around, Ollie somehow managed to anger Jocelyn again and we all ended up trying to keep her from cursing Ollie with some spell."

I laugh, "I'm surprised it's not Gilly this time,"

"She wasn't there, she had an assignment to do so we left her to it. In fact, she should be around here, let's try to find her."

Kayla makes her way around the shelf, with me tailing behind her slowly.

"Gilly! Jack!" She grins, alerting them of our presence.

"Jax! You're done with your meeting thing?" Gilly asks.

I shrug, "Yeah, it wasn't that interesting though. Much rather be with you guys,"

There's a sudden coughing fit from Kayla, although the coughing sounds somewhat similar to 'Do your thing'. I look at her weirdly, is she ok? Has Jocelyn cursed her or something? 

I turn to Jack and Gilly to see their reaction, Gilly has an immensely weirded out look on her face while Jack just looks like he's in pain. I think the FTRS students are coming down with something.

"So, umm... Gilly," Jack turns away from the slowly recovering Kayla, "Do you want to umm... go study some giants with me? It'll help with your essay."

"Actually, why not? I'm up for anything that'll help me pass this assignment, should we head off now?"

Jack nods wordlessly, getting up from his seat and bee-lining for the doorway, Gilly following close behind. 

I blink at them, they're leaving already? But I just got here...

*Time skip*

"Jaaaaxxx! Come on!!! Stop sulking!" Ollie yanks on one of my arms, trying to drag me out of bed.

"Noooo!" I groan, "Let me stayyyyy! And I'm not sulking! I'm just resting!"

" Whatever you say, man, but get up!" He grunts as he tries to pull the blanket off me. "Quit resting and go the Gnome-Olia Bakery with me! You can sulk there! With patty cakes!"

"I don't want to," I whine, face buried in my pillow.

"I'll even treat you to some! Just come with me!" 

I lift my head up slowly, Ollie must be really desperate if he's willing to buy me some of his precious patty cakes. "Fine, but only cause you're paying."

Kayla's P.O.V.

"Jocelyn, you're the best!" I grin, giving her a hug, "I sent Ollie over to go talk to Jax, make him feel better and force him to man up and confess."

"Oh my goodness, this is so exciting!" Maxine squeals, "It feels like watching romance novels, but with our friends as the main characters!"

"Exactly!" I agree, "And since their the main characters, we have to be the meddling friends who try to get them together!"

"And I'm just here for the fun of it," AG adds, popping a patty cake into her mouth.

"This is Ollie though," Maxine notes, "There's a chance he makes Jax confess to patty cakes instead of Gilly."

"Nah, he'll be the one confessing to patty cakes." I say confidently.

I know this chapter isn't much longer but I came up with something I really don't want to write here, better climax you know? So please bear with the short chapters for nowww, hopefully I manage something longer for the nextttt

Also, I've just realized that I've been working on this story for four years. Wow, when I started I didn't think it would be this long. Hopefully all goes well and I finish this story by the end of this year, fingers crosseddddd

(Btw I'm currently on vacation in the UK so idk wth is the time zone that this is getting published in :DDD)
