Ateria Kingdom Palace Coronation of Princess Meridith
"The day has finally come. The day I finally become queen of this country." Meridith thought to herself.
She had fought hard to survive against her brother's underhanded tactics to take the throne. But even with little support she had she survived.
"Princess it's time"
Princess Meridith was dressed in an elegant long white and blue dress. With a golden embroidery design etched into it. Complete with a pearl anklet on her right ankle and white heels. Her blue hair was tied into a braided fat ponytail that fell over her left shoulder. Her pink eyes matched her pink lipstick. She truly looked beautiful.

Princess Meridith
"Yes" she says.
She gets up and follows the servant who had come to retrieve her. She makes her way to the throne room. The doors open and someone announces her entrance.
The throne room a large chamber with red carpet leading to a red and gold throne. The kingdom's flag hung on the wall behind them. On both sides of the carpet were knights kneeling in honor of their soon-to-be queen. The Commander of the knights Mathiew Gerwood stood by the throne. Two Royal Guards stood on the bottom steps on the left and right sides leading to the throne. There were stands on the left and right side of the chamber but now they were empty. Usually occupied by nobles when a formal audience was required. At the request of the Princess she asked that no nobles be present.
The one the one person who should be here wasn't here either.
She reaches the steps to the throne and settles into it.
Mathiew beckons to servant to who is carrying red pillow with golden tassels on the corners. In it lay a golden crown which he gives to Mathiew.
Mathiew then kneels before her.
"Please accept this crown as our new Queen." He says offering it up to her.
Before she could take it though as if on cue her brother barges through the door along with Commander Borus of the Ground Forces Army some soldiers.
Mathiew stands up. "Prince Jon, what is the meaning of this?!"
"You know very well what this is, Commander Mathiew." Borus replies.
"You think I'd allow my younger sister to become queen? I'm the first born rightful heir to the throne!" Jon exclaimed.
"So you will become a traitor because of your thirst for power?" Mathiew responded.
