I couldn't help but laugh at how cute Lee was he wasn't even doing anything special but he talks so cutely to everyone greeting everyone that waves or talks to me "hey Camilo time to go behind the curtain for Antonio" My sister says "ok Dolores, I'll be right there" I say looking back at y/n "do you mind if I steal this little guy?" I ask her "um.. little Lee is it ok with you?" She looks up to the little boy on my shoulders he nodded and I smiled " how about you come back with me?" I asked

She looked at me like I was crazy I grab her hand and slowly walk off holding her had this seemed surreal suddenly all I could hear was the sound of my heart beating faster and faster

Y/n's POV

As Camilo held my hand dragging me around the Casita I could only think of what my other cousins and family were doing was leaving them a bad decision? I have to get back to them. But before I could protest against Camilo we were standing in front of four other people

one small cute boy a little older than Lee his hair was very curly his older sister Dolores "god she's so pretty" another girl was standing in front of us she had grey in her beautiful orange hair "must be his mom" the man standing next to her, he looks like the older version of Antonio.

I look over and see Maribel I smile and give an awkward wave "mama I would like to introduce you to my new friends Lee and Y/n" he says the smile on his face was still there "how does someone keep a smile on there face for so long?" I wondered he pointed at me for a second and I moved behind him and waved awkwardly "aw she's cute, I'm Pepa and this is my husband Félix" I look above Camilo's shoulder and give a small smile

Camilo and Lee stare down at me and I look at them and move myself in front of Camilo to shake her hand "I'm Y/n" I say putting on false confidence to reassure Lee that I'm fine I stop shaking Pepa's hand and shake Félix's hand next "it's so good to meet you Y/n" Pepa smiles and a rainbow appears behind her "I keep forgetting you guys have magical abilities" I say meaning to say it to myself. "Haha yeah it's just the miracle given to the Madrigal family" I smile as she spoke " yeah my mom always talked about you guys and your special gifts" I say

Pepa looked at me with a confused look "who's your mom?" I look at her "Kara Liyne" I answered "oh I knew I recognized your face from somewhere you look exactly like your mom" she says "your h/l h/c hair, is almost the same and everything about you like your e/c eyes" I smile as she spoke hearing about my mom made me feel better "I remember meeting you when you were just a baby, what was that 15 years ago?" She asked and I nod "your the same age as me!?" Camilo's voice boomed through the open space and I nodded "Abuela says it's time" Dolores says "we'll be waiting at the door for you Antonio" Pepa says and I smile

Camilo takes my hand again and I already feel like imma be dragged I looked to Mirabel and mouthed a 'help me' before I was getting lead out of the open space she shook her head at me and I frowned, as we walked back through the crowed room right next to the walkway Antonio would soon walk from

A short minute later the curtains opened and everyone clapped so happy to see the little man but once things died down he didn't start walking he stood there and looked back behind the curtain where I assumed Maribel was standing him keeping his eyes on her and holding his hand out. A short second passed before she comes out from behind the curtain Antonio grabs her arm as she says something to him before they start slowly walking she passes me and Camilo I look up at him, his smile had faded into a frown and his green eyes are full of sadness

I look back to Mirabel who is now looking at me and Camilo, I smile and gave her the 'you got this' thumbs up. Lee smiled so brightly at her that her demeanor changed "your gonna break hearts when your older Lee I swear" I think to myself, once the two made it to the door Abuela hands Antonio the candle and asked him a question the little boy goes up to the door but hesitates before putting his hand on the door handle

The next thing I see is a bright flash of light from the door and suddenly a bird flies over my head and all I can hear is Abuela say "we have a new gift!" I look down to see a bunch of animals come from all around as we get lead into his new room I find Mirabel and smile at her "you did a good thing for Antonio" I say and she gives me a soft smile "thanks" she said and I see Camilo drop Lee from off his shoulders "what are you doing?" I ask "oh uh I was gonna play a little game of tag with him" he says I look at him from where I'm standing as he shapeshifts into Lee and taps his shoulder and Lee looks shocked I laughed at his cute face "Ok but go take the family photo with your brother" I say as I point to the camera and the family trying to get his attention

After the photo he comes back and switches into a smaller child and noticed that Lee was crying on my shoulder and switched back and sat down next to me and Lee "hey little buddy what happened" Camilo asks his voice serious "he misses his mom, him and his brothers just moved in and haven't adjusted to living here" I said holding Lee he's almost asleep until Camilo picks him up and switches into his dad and mimicks him and Lee laughs " do you have a photo of his mom?" He asks I grab something from the small pocket I have in my dress and pull out a photo of Lee's mom and mine and point to my aunt

He takes a good look at the photo and then switches into her Lee looks so happy "MOMMY!" He says and hugs him "awe, thank you for making him happy like that" I say yawning he looks at me "Are you tired?" He asks and I nod "I didn't get much sleep last night, Lee kept crying" I say Lee looks over sadly "I'm sorry" he says the blue hue in his eyes sparkling as if he's gonna cry again "no no, it's ok Lee" I say smiling he looks up at me and then at Camilo who had now switched back to himself "well I'll watch Lee, you can take a nap in my room" he says I nodded that sounded really nice.

Camilo's pov

I lead y/n to my room despite my room being as big as Antonio's I lead her to my bed Lee following suit behind her, then I stopped and she ran right into my back falling down to the floor I turned around and helped her up "I'm so sorry" I say helping dust her off "it's fine I should have been paying attention" her eyes had bags under them, it doesn't look like she's slept well for a week or so her hair was a little messy and her face had a scratch from were she had fallen earlier.

I go to my closet and grabbed a pair of my pajama pants and a long sleeved shirt and handed them to her "here so your not sleeping in a dress" I say she nods and I pick Lee up and put him on my shoulders "let's go play tag while y/n sleeps ok little buddy?" I asked and he nodded I smiled as I closed the door

As me and Lee run around playing tag in Antonio's room Mirabel came running in "The house is in trouble, there were cracks and the candle almost went out" she said as the crowed gasps in horror "show me" my Abuela said, as everyone left, I stayed in with mama and Lee "he's so cute" My mom says and I smile "Where's y/n this is her cousin isn't it?" She asked me I looked up from Lee and smiled "She was tired so I told her to take a nap in my room I'll wake her up after the party" I said and my mom smiled "That was very considerate of you" she said as everyone came back in I assumed the house was fine then and grabbed Lee

"common little man, let's go to my room" I said he smiled and nodded "Can I go up on your shoulders?" He asked I smile and nod and picked him up and put him on my shoulders "I'm on top of the world!!" He said so cutely and I smiled "this guy is just adorable" I thought we walked into my room I heard soft snores coming from my bed and then someone walking behind me

"Camilo, Abuela wanted to let you know that we're eating outside tomorrow morning" Dolores said behind me and I nodded and she continued to say "why is y/n sleeping in your room?" I looked at her and explained I why and she nodded "alright well stay in here till the end of the party" I nodded and sat Lee on the small chair next to my desk "you're awesome Camilo" Lee says in a cute voice and I smile "well so are you" I say smiling and we started playing some games
