Camilos pov

I held out my hand a second more before she took it "I'm warning you now I don't know how to dance" her voice was serious and I smiled putting my hands on her waist she looked at me confused I chuckle lightly moving her hands around my neck and moved my hands back "the steps are as follows" I said counting as I moved my feet and she moved hers "I think I understand" she says looking at me and I put my forehead against hers I loved doing it because I knew it helped calmed her down but she was calm but I wanted her to feel safe

As we danced around the room I softly hummed a song I was thought growing up in the Madrigal home in a second I took one of
Y/n's hands and spun her her giggle filled the room her smile was genuine and beautiful, I wanted this to be the rest of my life "your so beautiful y/n never forget that" I said I looked at her and she had this aura to her that made me wanna stay no matter what happened I would do anything she said if it meant I would see that smile on her face "you remind me of my uncle" she said I smiled "I hope so from what I hear he's an amazing man" I said spinning her again

She stepped on my toe on accident and I laughed "oh my god, im so sorry!" She said "don't worry it's fine" I said "you gotta make mistakes before you get something perfect, even if those mistakes are painful" I looked at her and smiled her eyes were glowing from the sun and I loved how they sparkled it reminded me of my mama y/n reminded me so much of my mama that it was kinda funny that I fell for her "you know it's not nice to stare" she said I looked at her and rolled my eyes moving closer to her ear "when your my girlfriend I'm allowed to stare, mi Amor~" I whispered and her face heated up the red that made its way on her face made her freckles more noticeable and I loved it

"You know it's not far that you do that" she said "do what?" I said back almost immediately she gave me a evil look "don't play innocent with me" she said and I nervously chuckled "I'm sorry" her eyes never left mine and then there was a knock on the door "damn it" I said and let her go so I could answer it, to my surprise it was my family not all of them but most of them "hey mama what's up" "I brought lunch for you and y/n" she said as she poked her head to see Y/n with a bruised cheek "oh what happened" she said entering the house "nothing I was just defending myself" she said mama instinctively pulled out some of the food "my sister made this eat some" mama said as she handed it to y/n I smiled as she slowly at the food and her bruise went away

"Im going to thank Tia later"I said and mama nodded "so what were you two doing?" Mama asks and I smile "I was dancing with y/n" I said her face flushed "awe that's so cute, don't let me interrupt that" my moms bright smile caused a rainbow to appear behind her "love you mama" I say kissing her cheek as she leaves. "Camilo" y/n said looking at me I looked back at her to signal I was listening "thank you" she says looking down. I walked closer to her "for what?" I asked "being yourself" she responded I used my index finger and thumb to lift her chin up so she was looking at me "I will always be myself around you" I smiled

Y/n's pov

I looked at Camilo his eyes showed no signs of lying which made me happy I just wanted him to feel like himself "your so perfect y/n Liyne" I heard him say as I rest may head on his chest "so are you Camilo Madrigal" I say looking up at his face he looked at me contempt with where he was now, I wanted to say how much he meant to me but I didn't know how when it came to him I was all kinds of shy and my voice cracks and stutters he never seems to get that way "Camilo?" I asked his attention came back to me as he smiled "yes mi Amor" I looked at him and smiled "can we dance again?" I asked and he smiled nodding his head

His hands found their way to my waist and mine went around his neck, this was how it felt for my aunt and uncle when they danced wasn't it, I could feel my cares and stress melt away with every step, despite the steps being small. My heart was beating fast and if I didn't know any better I would think Camilo could hear it, suddenly I heard Camilo humming again his soft hand took one of mine and spun me around and then moved right back to where they were, the main section of the house was so small to me until today with Camilo it seemed like the floor expanded but I knew it didn't in this moment I didn't even notice that the door had opened with Andrew and Lee watching Camilo and me dance until I heard sniffles Camilo must have heard it too because we both turned around

"You look like mama and papa" Andrew says you could hear him trying not to cry and Lee he was already crying Camilo picked him up and placed a delicate kiss in his forehead "shh, it's ok" he said Andrew and I just stared at each other "I'm glad my papa could help you find someone that makes you happy" he said giving me a hug "thanks Andrew" I said he never hugged me so I took the opportunity to give him a big hug "I love you y/n, as family I'm happy I got to be part of yours" he said Camilo smiled at me and Andrew as my eyes teared up "thank you that means so much to me" I said and he patted my head then took Lee and went up to their rooms.

"I'm glad I met you too y/n" he said brushing happy tears from my eyes I smiled
