I watched my mama and papa and smile as Camilo's grip on my hand tightened I smiled then turned to him his tan face was red, I smiled "Camilo" my papa said he coughed and shook himself out of his trance "Yes sir?" he asked him anxiousness filled his voice as he looked at my papa "you break her heart ill kill you" his voice shocked Camilo and he nodded "that goes for you too Y/n" he said I looked around nervously "why would I hurt him, papa?" I asked "you never know Mija," my mama said I looked at her as Lee came running in with Andrew and his older brother Kayden "Lee let go of my hand," Kayden said Lee shook his head and Kayden pushed him, "I said let go!" Kayden said I let go of Camilo's hand and rushed to Lee "Kayden what is wrong with you?" my papa asked "nothing he's just annoying" he said sitting in his chair Andrew grabbed his hand "look brat, you don't treat him like that" he said voice stern "Sorry Andy" he says I looked at Lee's head "are you alright buddy?" I asked and he smiled "I'm ok," he said happiness filling his voice as he wraps his arms around my neck and gave me a big hug "awe thanks buddy, but it's time for breakfast" "or maybe time for you to brush your hair" Kaytlyn said from in front of me and I just brushed her off grabbing Lee's hand and sitting him next to me and the table. "Wheres Abuelo?" Kaytlyn asked "he was kicked out last night" papa responded "What?!" she yelled "You kicked him out what is wrong with you?!" she continued to yell throwing her hands on the table "Sit down young lady" papa said his voice stern but not even a bit raised, "no screw you," she said storming out of the house I looked at papa "one less mouth to feed I guess" he said he picked up a little teacup sitting by his empty plate suddenly Tarence tripped and fell down the stairs "Owch," he said from the floor I tilted my chair back "You good bro?" I asked and he gave me a thumbs up and slowly stood up his nose bleeding I stood up quickly and grabbed a napkin and ran to him Camilo looking at me from where I was standing Tarence grabbed my wrist as I cleaned up his nose "i"m fine Sis" he said kissing my head I looked at him "are you sure?" I asked looking up at him

He was really tall for a thirteen-year-old, taller than Camilo, I smiled and lowered my hand and went to sit back down my brother slowly following sitting across from me and smiled then looked at Camilo with an odd look "who's this?" he asked I smiled "this is my boyfriend, Camilo Madrigal" I said Camilo reached across the table and Terence shook his hand "you're the shapeshifter right?" he asked and Camilo nodded sitting back down normally and scooting his chair after. Tarence looked at me "wow sis good job" he said I looked at him confused as I sipped some of my water "wonder what your kids are gonna look like" he said I spit out my water and looked at him "what?" he said looking at me I gave him a dirty look and he smiled "What's wrong sis? Can't handle the truth" he asked he looked at me with a coky grin to stood up and went around the table and tackled him out of his chair he tried to fight against me but it didn't work well for him until someone pulled me off him "That's enough Mi Amor" Camilo said and he set me down back at my seat as mama served breakfast and sat down "well thank you for the show y/n" my mama said I looked at my younger brother with a dirty look "dont look at me like that sis you know I could have just pulled your hair esspecialy with all those nots" he said "you'd be the one brushing it" I said angrily the next second passed and Camilo kissed my cheek and whispered "Amor dont let him get to you." in my ear i smiled and let it go i picked up the syrup when a knock at the front door could be heard i set the syrup back down and got up slowly opening the brown wooden door i was met with the faces of Camilo's family "hey how can i help you?" i asked and Pepa smiled at me "Camilo is here right?" she asked and i nodded "oh ok thank you, we were so worried that we couldnt eat breakfast other than dolores who ate anyway" she said and i smiled i opened the door all the way "well we have extra if you'd like to join us" i said and Pepa smiled

They walked in and I closed the door leading them to the kitchen Camilo looked shocked "hey Mama?" he asked and I smiled "Mama? Papa?" they looked at me "is it ok if they join us for breakfast?" they needed and I smiled heading back to my seat "hey Kara" Pepa said and Mama quickly stood up "Pepa?!" she said hugging her I looked at Camilo and we sat there with the uncomfortable silence I grabbed the syrup again and poured a bit on my waffles Papa and Mama were now sitting and chatting as I cut my waffles eating them slowly as I hear Pepa say "I was so happy I got to meet Y/n, even though it wasn't the best way to meet with her Abuelo around" she said I almost choked on my waffle and Camilo quickly patted my back as I stopped coughing Pepa looked at me " are you ok?" I nodded looking at Camilo "thanks" I said he nodded he didn't talk because he was chewing his food but I kissed his cheek
