Camilo's pov

I hadn't left my room in two weeks and I barely ate, I couldn't stop thinking about y/n, was she the one, or was she going to be what my mom calls my first heartbreak. I didn't know but a week without y/n in my arms was eating at my soul. I couldn't help but feel helpless. Her mom was sick. I should have told her sooner, but her dad had pleaded with me to not say a word. I felt tears well in my eyes. I noticed when I left my room that my door wasn't really glowing anymore probably because of the lack of my gift being used my sister knocked on my door before coming in my whole family came in "Hey Mijo we have a surprise for you" I sat up quickly "is y/n here?!" they looked down with a sad smile "no bu" "than get out i don't want visitors" I said coldly they looked sad but left I looked over at a matching necklace I had with y/n hanging on a nail I stared at it it had a clear background and the chameleon in the center was the color of her eyes, the different shades making the chameleon have a beautiful hue to it in the clear part hints of red and purple can be seen hitting each other as if they were fighting to be the dominant color the silky braided string that held it was a coffee stain color I smiled as I took it off the wall and held it in my hand I looked at if moving my thumb against the golden frame that held in the resin, I stopped smiling and started feel tears leave my face that was all I could do this last few weeks was lay down eat one meal and cry 'its not fair I want my y/n back' i thought my hands were shaking i closed my eyes tightening them as i cried into my pillow

y/n's pov

I looked at my mom with saddened eyes and nodded "hunny why?" she asked she sat and cupped my face "I thought he lied to me about your condition" I said my voice cracking I hadn't slept a wink in the two weeks he had been gone but I couldn't have been more tired this probably wasn't the healthiest thing for me but I wanted to stay close to mama while I had the chance I heard the front door open but I ignored it as tears fell from my eyes and down to my mama's hands I wiped my eyes quickly when I heard the door open I looked to see who it was Papa and Pepa were standing at the door Pepa had a sad look on her face and I looked at her with a small frown on my face "what are you doing here?" i asked her green eyes were saddened he long red hair was tangled it looked like she had a nightmare while she slept "I came to talk to you about you and Camilo" I looked at her as she said it than looked at my mama i think she noticed i was sad because she gave me a soft smile and nodded i let go of her hand as i stood up i looked at papa and he smiled i took a step and tripped, my lack of sleep was catching up to me but i wasn't about to sleep knowing that my mama was going to go soon i placed my feet on the ground and started to walk again. When I and Pepa entered the empty living room she sat in a chair and I followed her shortly after sitting in one across for her "he hasn't eaten much.." she started I looked at her my heart sank "what do you mean" i asked leaning in putting my elbows against my thighs "he hasn't eaten anything but dinner and you know how much he loves his food, he hasnt left his room for chores or to hangout with his brother or cousin and Abuela is getting worried" she said i looked at her and frowned "his door isnt even glowing anymore" her hands where fidgeting as i looked at them they reminded me of how Camilo's hands figit when he was crying 'a habit he picked up from his mom?' i looked up from her gentle white hands and gave her a fragile smile one where it was clear i couldn't smile, if i did i'd most likely start crying "if you could bring him here, than i can see what i can do but i have a lot on my plate i dont promse anything, especially since the last time i saw him i accused him of domething he didnt do" she looked at me and smiled as i stood up and hugged me her tall figure stood up she hugged me and rushed out the door and i smiled i was nervous as to what would happen we he got here if he would even agree to come

Pepa's pov

I left the Liyne family home I was so sad when I saw the bags under Y/n's eyes maybe if she could help my son he could help her she looked like she hadn't slept since the party I felt bad because she was such a nice girl but I quickly got up on the horse I took to get over here as I rode him home the villagers looked at me as I passed them by I get to Casita and jump off my horse and I was greeted by my husband and my mama "what happened?" Felix asked I smiled "she said she would help but we have to take him there she wants to stay close to her mom" Felix looked at me with a determination to get our son out of the house "Camilo Madrigal! Get your butt down here" Felix yells and after a second I hear a groan from the stairs "that's what you're wearing?" he asked and I laughed punching him on the shoulder "Come on Camilo get on the horse were going to visit someone" I said after a minute or two he was on the horse and asked "where are we going" his hands held onto my waist "to Y/n" I said
