Chapter 8

Camilo's pov

It had gotten late and y/n had fallen asleep on my shoulder. I smiled and picked her up somewhat effortlessly, her head rested gently on my shoulder. She was so pretty and I was so happy to get to hear about her dad and tio. I heard her groan and I stopped "Y/n are you ok?" I asked my voice hushed to make sure to not wake her if she was still asleep and then I heard her soft and quiet snores, it sounded like a cat. I was halfway to her house when her cousin came from behind the corner "oh there you two are" he said i smiled "Hey" i said "isnt she heavy?" he asked pointing to y/n i shook my head, "No she's quite light" i said and he smiled "I'm glad she had fun she never get out of the house because of abuelo" he said when he brought that up i remembered her saying how her aunt had to go through the same thing "Your mom told you about abuelo being abusive, didnt she?" I asked, he nodded and I sighed. "My mom said there would be a good chance if we ever had to move in with my Tio and Tia that abuelo might how up and take advantage of y/n." he said i looked at him and we started walking "it was my job to protect her if it came to that" he said as we walked "and have you?" I asked as he looked down and shook his head "he hurts her when i'm not home so i never know about it" he said "but i help her out with chores'' he said "oh?" I asked and he nodded.

I smiled as we reached the front door "Are you coming over tomorrow?" he asked and i nodded he smiled as we walked up the stairs "i'm glad i have plans tomorrow and i can't stay to help so thank you" he said we had reached her room i slowly opened the door and quietly closed the door and turned on the light, her head slightly moved against my shoulder i smiled and set her on her bed

I got up, but I didn't want to leave especially not now her beautiful face resting so perfectly she looked calmer sleeping like she doesn't have to worry about anything "you want to stay dont you" I heard from the door I turned around and saw Lee and I smile sitting on the wooden floor "hey buddy, I would love to stay but I have no where to sleep" I said he runs to me and smiles "you could sleep in my room" he said happily, I looked at him then at y/n and smiled and whispered something in his ear he shook his head

I smiled and got up picking Lee up and opening the door enough "it's time for bed little one" I say tickling his stomach "if you have a bad dream come to me ok?" I said I didn't know how y/n would react but I didn't really care to play attention to that anymore as I laid Lee in his bed he closed his eyes and held his stuffed bear I quietly exited the room and closed the door behind me I walked slowly down the hallway and after a couple steps I notice y/n leaning against her door frame she was in pajamas now her long h/c hair messy and mostly in her face

As I got closer I noticed her eyes were squinted and not focused I finish walking down the hallway and stand in front of her she wasn't much shorter than me but just short enough for her head to rest on my chest if needed I moved my hand to her face and pushed her hair away from her eyes suddenly I felt my cheek burn "oh no I'm sorry!" Her sleepy voice says and I smile "it's ok" I say kissing her cheek. "Do you mind if I stay her for the night amor?" I asked and she smiled "yeah, we don't have anymore spare bedrooms so if your comfortable you can sleep in my room" she said

"Me? No, no amor, I should be asking that question" I said brushing her cheek with my thumb she smiled "I wouldn't have offered if I wasn't" she said sleepiness coated her voice as she practically passed out after trying to take a step I caught her with minimum effort "I got you" I said walking into her room and closing the door gently turning the light out too and walking towards her bed and I set her down again I went to a drawer next to her bed and found some blankets

"what are you doing?" She asked me as I laid the blankets down in the floor "making a small bed why amor?" I asked back "I thought you were gonna sleep up here are you sure about the floor?" She asked and I smiled placing a gentle kiss on her forehead and then her lips "yes I'm sure, do you really want your abuelo to see me sleeping in the same bed as you?" I asked and she shook her head I moved her hair out of her face once more, then she handed me a pillow I smiled and layers down and after a little bit I fell asleep

Lee's pov

I was tired even though I woke up I was having a good dream it made me sad I didn't get to finish it but I was getting the creeps again from under my bed I remembered the curly haired boys offer and slowly went to the door of my room and opened it walking to my cousins room and opening the door I saw the two of them sleeping separately and went over to the curly headed boy after closing the door I poked his head and he woke up "hey Little buddy what's up?" He said his voice coated in sleepiness "I'm scared" I said he opened the blanket up and motioned for me to get in and I smiled cuddling against him I slowly fell asleep
