•⃣Chapter 1•⃣

Y/n POV

"This is just great." I thought to myself. I had waken up to my younger cousin crying frantically, but reluctantly I got out of my bed and grab a blanket tossing it over my shoulders it was a cold night, "maybe that's why he's awake, he cold?" I sigh as I open my door and walk down the small hallway.

I walk down the small second floor hallway making sure my steps are gentle and quiet as to not wake the others, I finally get to the door and open it slowly the cries were really loud now. I go up to Lee and pick him up "hey buddy what's wrong?" I say softly as he hides his face in my neck and continues to cry his older brother still dead asleep "I miss mommy"  Lee says as he moves his head to look at me I give him a soft smile.

"Don't worry I'm right here little Lee" I say as I put my four head against his small one "Y/n can I sleep with you tonight" he says his small voice cracking as he tries not to cry I nod my head. "Come on little man let's go to my room" I say heading towards the door again and opening it and heading it back after closing it "alright little man you ready?" I can already hear his soft snores against the crook of my neck

I walk really slowly to my room quite enough to make sure not to wake him and open the door I walk over to my bed and gently put him down on my bed i smiled softly as i got under the covers after him and slowly fell asleep. tomorrow was gonna be a long day.

I woke up the next day from my alarm clock I aggressively threw it against the wall as if on que my older cousin walks in "get up its already noon" he says leaning his body against the door frame I sigh and get up my h/l messy hair all in my face. As my cousin stands in the door I see something in his hand "Here" he says as he ands me a brush, reluctantly I take the brush and start brushing my hair on the way down the stairs. "Andrew!" Abuelo yells

"uh oh what did you doooo" I say teasing him he and I finish walking down the stairs and Abuelo looked at us "Y/n I need you to go to the market and grab groceries" he says as he hands me a list "But Abuelo I'm not eve-" " I don't care get dressed and go" he says I nod heading back upstairs closing my door and going into my closet and pulling out a green skirt and white top.

I finish getting ready and rush down the stairs Abuelo calls me over "Get something for Antonio Madrigal we were invited to his gift ceremony tonight" he told me and I gave a small smile and nodded "Yes sir!" I say and rush out of the house I didn't personally know anyone from the Madrigal family before my Aunt passed away I didn't even leave the house for to long, as I go and head to the market I hear singing I stop and see a girl with a colorful blue flowy skirt and white top, curly black hair the reminded me of the night sky she's singing about her family... to children? I sigh she doesn't look older than me

I finish walking to the market and there she was again but this time she's with a woman who looks like her but older the woman was very pretty and was handing out food to the people in a line they all had some sort of injury. Suddenly I'm getting pushed and I landed on the ground "Oh my god I'm so so sorry" the girl says to me "it's fine" I say as I stand up and dust off my skirt and smile at her "I'm Mirabel Madrigal" she throws her hand out to me and it startled me but I shook it "I'm Y/n Liyne" (pronounced like Lyn) Mirabel looked shocked "Oh my god, your apart of the Liyne family?" She asked I nodded "I've wanted to meet your family for so long my mom knows your mom and aunt" she says

I look down "What's wrong?" I sigh "My aunt passed away a couple weeks ago" I said and looked at her "Oh I'm so sorry" she said I smiled as to signal to her I'm alright "MIRABEL" I hear a boy yell as he appears from around the corner he smiles when he sees her next to me and runs up "Abuela is looking for you" he says as he looks at her then turns to me "Who's this?" He says smiling at me his green eye staring into my soul

"This is Y/n Lyine" she says and his eyes widen "oh the Liyne family huh? My mom knows your mom" he said his smile grows "are you coming to the ceremony tonight?" He asked and I nod his green eyes looks at me with a joy like a little boy "alright well I gotta get food for my family" I say as I excuse myself

Camilo's POV

I was hanging out by the door greeting the guests switching my appearance between people I finally spot Y/n and her family she was holding a little boy smaller than Antonio I smiled as I switched into each member of her family greeting her last as myself "who's this?" I say tucking a lock of curly hair from his face

"this is Lee" she said her shiny e/c eyes glowing in the night "he so cute can I hold him" I ask I expected her to say no but she looks over to him "Little Lee is it ok if he gives you a hug?" Lee nods my head perks up and I feel a giant smile plaster on my face. As I pick up and set him on my hip

"hey there little Lee" I say he gives me the cutest grumpy face "Only my favorite older cousin can call me that" I look down at him "well how about I become your favorite not cousin?" I say "maybe" he says I put him on my shoulder and look at Y/n who's smiling "comeon y/n we must enterrr" Lee says her smile grows. "God she's so cute" I smile
