Chapter 9

Sarah's pov.

my phone started ringing and i noticed it was my manager.

"hey michelle."
"hey sarah. your not busy are you?." she asked.
"i was just watching a movie but what's up?"
"oh okay, i've just got an email about a new movie that i think you would be perfect for."
"what is it."
"oceans 8, only 2 people have been casted so far but the audition is next week."
"do you know who's been casted already."
"yeah Sandra bullock and Cate Blanchett."
"oooh okay, yeah i'll do it just email me the script. what day is the audition?"
"next Friday."
"okay, thanks Michelle."
"bye sarah."
"bye michelle."

y/n's pov

sarah came back into the living room and sat of the sofa next to me with a big smile on her face. i wanted to ask who it was but i didn't want to seem like a nosey bitch.

"i've got an audition next friday." she said breaking the silence.
"OMG. No way."
"yeah it's for a movie called oceans 8."
"so what are you gonna do about teaching."
"oh i didn't really think about that. i'll probably go back to acting. i mean i've enjoyed the time teaching but acting has always been for me."
"we'll what ever you decide to do, i'll be by your side."
"thankyou sweetheart." she said tearing up.
"hey don't cry, i didn't mean to make you cry."
"oh no sweetheart these are happy tears."

(a few months later)

living with sarah has been great. i've met so many of her friends, she even introduced me as her daughter. i called her mom by accident but she said it was completely fine and i can call her whatever  i want. i've told her about mina and i and she is completely fine with it. mina had already met sarah through teaching obviously so she's ended up staying at ours for a few nights. i told mina the whole situation about my parents and about that's how i ended up moving in with sarah.

Sarah got the role for oceans 8 and had to start filming next month. she said i can come with her if i want and i'm more than happy too. i've already met cate and sandy, they're already like family to me.

i walked downstairs to be met with sarah sat on her phone.
"hey mom."
no reply
"mom."
still no reply. "mom?"Mom"MOM!"
"oh sorry sweetheart i didn't realise you were there. is everything okay?"she said still not taking her eyes off her phone. yeah i was just wondering if you wanted anything for breakfast?" "oh no thankyou darling, i've already ate." "oh okay, what are you doing, you've barley stopped on your phone?"

"oh i'm just texting someone." she said blushing.
"oooh who?" i asked.
"she's called holland."
"ooh right, is she gonna be your new girlfriend?" i said slightly teasing her.
"maybe we've planned to go out to dinner tonight."
"oh o-okay."
"sorry darling, i know i should've told you sooner. i'll make you something to eat before i go out."
"o-okay."

(a few hours later)

sarah left for dinner with holland about 2 hours ago so she was due home anytime soon. i'd managed to eat a couple of crackers, i'm finally starting to eat again and it feels good.

i was sat in my room when i could hear giggling from the hallway. "shh we have to be quiet y/n's in bed." the giggling  soon turned into a sloppy make out session. i knew exactly how this was gonna turn out so i got into bed, put my airpods in and played my playlist.

However that was soon interrupted by many moans and the headboard constantly fucking hitting off the wall. i was so pissed, so i rang mina.

*ring, ring, ri*

"hey baby"
"hey, can i come round yours?" i asked.
"of course darling, is everything okay?"
"um yeah, it's just my moms kinda 'busy'" i said scratching the back of my neck.
" of course honey,i'll come and pick you up now, i'll be 5 minutes." she chuckled
"okay, thankyou, love you."

i packed my night bag and left a note on the kitchen counter, letting sarah know where i was. i few minutes later i got a buzz from my phone.
