Heidi P.O.V.

"Miyuki what are you doing?" I asked as he was rummaging through his sports bag. "I found something that you might be interested in. Ah, here it is!" He took it out his bag and handed it to me. I took it and couldn't help but smile.

"Miyuki your horrible. I can't believe you took a picture of my reaction to the spider birthday present from last year." I threw the photo at him and he started laughing. "I thought I lost it until I found it under my bed." He picked up the photo and put it back in his bag.

We had just gotten back from the second game of the Summer Tournament. It was pretty boring as I sat in the dug out along with Tanba since we can't play until prelims. Since I got back from the hospital he has been acting very nice towards me instead of his old ''I won't loose to you'' attitude. I asked Tetsuya if something happened between us and he said he had no idea.

We sat in the indoor practice building as Miyuki was catching for Furuya and Sawamura. I haven't pitched since..I honestly don't remember when was the last time I pitched...I mean besides the accident, where supposivly I got hit in the head by a line drive.

I tried to remember everything from the summer scrimmage all the way back to the first game in the spring but every time I try I get a headache. It started making me feel sad seeing photos and hearing conversations about something when I have no idea what they are talking about.

"Ms.Heidi! Come pitch with us and show idiot Furuya how it's-" Sawamura yelled out until Miyuki started yelling at him.

"You idiot! She's still recovering! How would you like it if-"

I stood up and made my way to where Sawamura was standing. "No,no it's okay. Sawamura can I see the ball."

"Yeah sure." He handed me the ball and I took it, gripping the seams. It felt so weird holding a baseball, like I haven't held it in years. Since I got back from the hospital I wasn't allowed to practice with the guys, let alone pitch.

"Um, Furuya may I borrow your glove please." Furuya nodded and handed me his glove. His glove was pretty big and worn out, but not as worn out as mine. I have no idea where my glove is actually. It wasn't in my dorm or my sports bag.

"Heidi you don't have to pitch." Miyuki said and he stood up worried. I smirked and looked at him.

"Please, when will I ever turn down the chance to pitch. Don't tell me your scared of my pitches now are you? Too much for you to handle." I stuck out my tongue and received a small smirk from him.

He crouched down and stuck out his glove. A bit of guilt was written on his face. I couldn't help but feel bad as he blamed himself for me ending up getting hit by a line drive.

I positioned myself as I ran my fingers on the ball by Furuya's glove, thinking of what kind of pitch to throw. I did my whined up and released the ball only for it to hit the ground a few feet in front of him and bounce up to his glove.

I stood their a bit shocked. My pitches are never that off as they are now. Miyuki stood up and was about to throw the ball when he hesitated and just rolled the ball back to me, as if he was scared to he would hit me.

"You know you can throw the ball right?" I told him as I picked up the ball.

"I know." Miyuki said. He started walking toward us. Furuya and Sawamura were watching Miyuki make his way towards me.

"Then why didn't you throw it?" I asked sounding a bit harsh. This made Sawamura take a step away from me.

"Your really off. If I threw the ball you probably would've missed it and ended up hitting you."
