Quality Time at the Beach

Sophie gets home and watches TV until 1:00pm. Lizzy comes home and greets Sophie with a hug.

"Hey Liz?" Says Sophie.

"Yeah Soph?"

"Rhett and Link wanted to know if you wanted to come to the beach like right now with me and them?"

"Omg yeah! Let me get my outfit!" Says Lizzy happily as she runs to her room.

Sophie runs to her room and grabs her swimsuit and shorts. (The one in the picture) she puts them on and puts on a sweatshirt.

"Lizzy! You ready?" Asks Sophie through the door.

"Ready as I'll ever be!" Says Lizzy wearing her swimsuit underneath her jacket and shorts.

"Lets go!" Exclaims Sophie as she grabs the towels. They both run out the door and squeal. Sophie gets in the driver seat and Lizzy gets in the passenger seat. Lizzy opens the sunroof and holds her hands in the air. They drive to the beach on this warm, beautiful, sunny day. They arrive and take off their jackets and run out of the car to the fluffy sand.

They see Rhett and Link running towards them. Sophie and Lizzy wave at them and smile.

"Hey Rhett! Hey Link!" Says Sophie. She smiles and gives Rhett a hug and then gives Link a hug.

"Hey guys!" Says Lizzy. She hugs Link and then hugs Rhett.

Sophie and Link run to the sand close to the water and call for Rhett and Lizzy.

"Let's build a sand castle! Rhett, you get the buckets! Lizzy, you get the shovels! Sophie, start building the wall so the water doesn't come in! I'll start on the base of the castle! Go!" Says Link.
Sophie makes a sturdy sand wall, Rhett comes back with buckets, and Lizzy comes back with shovels. Link fills the bucket up with sand and sets it down behind the wall. Rhett digs out a mote around the castle. Lizzy starts putting water into the mote. Sophie continues layering onto the wall. Link sets two more castles around the first. Lizzy starts making little drizzle sculptures on the tops of the castles. As Link fills up a bucket of sand, Sophie wraps her arms around Link's shoulders and hugs him. Link laughs and hugs her back.

20 MINUTES LATER...

Sophie wipes the sweat off of her forehead and laughs. The four stand back and look at their large castle and smile at each other. They all sit in a line side by side and watch the water crash against the wall of the castle. Sophie gets up and writes "Fort Awesome" in the sand behind the castle with her finger. She sits back down beside her best friends.

They sit for a few minutes and admire the castle. Sophie puts on her sunglasses and smiles.

A guy walks about 10 feet behind them and does the whistle to Sophie. Sophie hears and turns around angrily. Link also hears and looks at him angrily.

"Hey!" Link yells. "Back off dude!"

The guy just laughs at Link and then looks at Sophie. Sophie pulls her sunglasses down and her eyes turn bright purple as she angrily glares at him. The guy gets scared and runs away.

"Yeah, that's what I thought." Says Sophie kinda peeved.

Link looks at Sophie's eyes and says,"Whoa! Rhett come look at this!"
Rhett comes over and looks at her eyes.
"Awesome! But watch this." Says Rhett. Rhett pinches Sophies arm.
"Ow! Rhett!" Says Sophie as her eyes turn red.
"Magnificent!" Says Link. Sophies eyes turn normal and she puts her sunglasses back on.

Sophie pokes Link and yells,"TAG YOU'RE IT!",gets up, and runs towards the water. Link gets up and tags Rhett.
"RHETT'S IT!" Yells Link.
Lizzy gets up and fake screams while running to Sophie. Rhett gets up and chases Link. Link runs around Sophie and yells,"Tag her!"

Rhett looks to Sophie and chases her. Sophie runs around screaming and laughing.
"You're too slow Rhett!" Says Sophie as she speeds away. Rhett finally tags Sophie on the shoulder.
"SOPHIE'S IT!" Yells Rhett.
Sophie runs around Link and towards Lizzy Sophie tags Lizzy on her head.
"LIZZY'S IT!" Yells Sophie.
Lizzy runs around chasing Sophie and then follows Link. She tags Link and he says,"Okay. Time out!"

"Wanna go on a walk down the beach before sunset?" Asks Rhett.

"Uh yeah!!!" Sophie and Lizzy exclaim in unison.

They all four walk in a line, side by side down the beach. (Left to right- Lizzy, Sophie, Link, and Rhett)

Sophie and Lizzy talk about the beautiful view in the distance. Rhett whispers to Link,"You hid the bottle right?"
"Yep, right over there." Link whispers back.
"Okay. You got the ring?" Whispers Rhett.
"Of course." Whispers Link.

They walk a little bit further...

"Omg! A bottle with a note in it!" Exclaims Sophie as she runs to it.
"What? No way!" Says Rhett.
"Get outta here!" Says Link.

"No really! There's a note in it!" Says Sophie. She bends down and grabs it. She opens it and takes out the note.

"What does it say?!" Asks Lizzy.

Link walks towards Sophie and pulls out the ring.

"It says Will you marry-"

Link kneels down behind her and says,"Sophie..."
Sophie turns around and puts her hands over her mouth.
"Sophie. You are my love. My forever and always. We've been on an adventure together. Now, I wish that you'll be mine forever. Sophie, will you marry me?" Asks Link holding the diamond ring.

CLIFFHANGER! Sorry! But I have to tell you this: I was listening to Pandora Radio writing half of this story. And RIGHT OUT OF THE BLUE when I was writing the part where Sophie finds the bottle, MARRY YOU by Bruno Mars came on!!!!!! Not kidding! I did NOT know that was coming on!! Perfect timing!!
