Sophie wakes up beside a sleeping Link at about 3:00 am. She gasps when she sees the 10 rips in Link's shirt. She looks down at her hands and hides them in her sleeves. She observes the ten hash marks through Link's shirt and looks horrified. She covers her mouth.
"I'm a monster! A monster!" Sophie whispers.
Link opens his eyes slowly and says,"Sophie..."
"I'm a monster!" Sophie says to Link grabbing his shirt. Her fingernails become sharp and cut through the shirt. Sophie gasps.
"Sophie! Sophie! It's okay!" Link says trying to calm her.
Sophie lets go of him and her nails retract. Her eyes turn red.
"I AM A MONSTER!" Sophie yells frightened.
"Sophie. It'll be okay, calm down." Link says as he puts his hand on hers.
Sophie pulls her hand away and says,"No don't touch me! Please. I don't want to hurt you."
Link looks into her eyes and a tear runs down his face.
"How can you love me? I'm a monster! I could've killed you!" Says Sophie.
Sophie sings:

Sophie cries and burries her face into the ground.
"Why can't I just die?!" Sophie yells.
"Sophie!" Link says as he puts his hand on hers.
"I love you. Monster or not. I know even if evil took over you, you wouldn't hurt anyone. That's how kind-hearted you are. You are the nicest and most gorgeous girl I have ever seen! Please don't do anything to yourself or think that you're anything less than perfect! You are perfect. You are beautiful. And I love you so much. Now let me see those beautiful eyes of yours."
Sophie looks up at Link and her eyes turn from red back to hazel.
"That's my girl." Says Link. "Now will you let me kiss you?"
As a tear runs down Sophie's face, she nods yes.
Link leans in to kiss Sophie and kisses her for 5 seconds. He pulls away and Sophie quickly grabs him into a hug. Link smiles and hugs her back.
They let go and Link walks to the couch. He flops onto it and says,"You sleeping here?"
"Only with you." Says Sophie. She walks over to the couch and lays next to him. She puts her head on his chest and they both fall asleep.
