Speak Now (A Rhett and Link Fanfic)

The Lucky One

(This chapter is slightly inspired by the song "The Lucky One" by Taylor Swift. I get a lot of inspiration from her <3)

Sophie wakes up to her new alarm. The song "Wish You Were Here" by Avril Lavigne plays and Sophie sings along.

She turns off the alarm and turns on her music. She hops into the shower and sings along to her favorite songs.

She gets out of the shower and puts on her dance clothes. She starts stretching on the floor and dancing to her dances. She grabs her dance clothes and shoes and walks out of the hotel room.

She gets into the car and hears a slow, sad song and becomes saddened. She thinks of Link and becomes more sad.

"You'll call me the lucky one... When really, he's lucky that I'm gone. So that I'm not holding him back from true love..." Sophie says. "If he cheated on me, he didn't really love me to begin with."

She gets to the auditorium where their recital will be and meets up with the company. They also get to meet a few other dance companies. They stretch and do each of their dances in order.

After their long practice, Sophie gets into her car and drives to her hotel. She makes herself a salad and eats it in bed. She finishes and sets the alarm on her phone to 4:45 pm. She takes a nap.

Sophie's dream:

Sophie wakes up one morning and wakes up her two kids. She walks into Link's room and sees him making out with another girl.

"Link!" Sophie yells.

The girl gets up and runs out of the whole house.

"You don't even love me! Or the kids!" Sophie yells.

"Mommy, what's wrong?" Asks the little boy behind Sophie.

"Just go play with your sister, sweetie. I'll be out in a minute." Says Sophie to her son.

The little boy walks out and Sophie closes the door.

"You tricked me into having kids with you Link! I can't take this anymore!" Yells Sophie to Link.

Link gets up from the bed and slaps her across the face.

"I hate you!" Yells Sophie.

"If you leave, I'll find you. You can't leave me." Says Link.

Sophie stomps out of the room.

LATER...

1:57 am

Sophie quietly walks into the kids rooms and picks them both up. She carries them to her room.

"Mommy, what's going on?" Asks the little boy.

Sophie fills a large suitcase with her clothes and her other things.

"We're leaving." Says Sophie.

"Why?"

"Trust me. We need to leave." Says Sophie filling her suitcase quickly with hers and the kids stuff.

She grabs the little boy's hand and picks up the baby. She grabs the suitcase and her keys and runs out of the house. She quickly stuffs her things into the car and puts the kids in their seats. She quickly drives away from their home, leaving their house and Link behind. Sophie cries while driving away...

Sophie jerks awake and balls out crying.

"Oh my gosh... It was just a dream." Says Sophie relieved and angry at the same time. She thinks of Link cheating on her and gets even more angry.
