Bad Blood

"I'm so excited!" Says Sophie enthusiastically to Samantha and Maddie.

"Me too!" Says Samantha. "I can't believe it's our last recital here today! It went by so fast."

"Yeah... It was still so much fun." Says Sophie putting on her black tights and a maroon colored sweater.

"Yeah. I can't wait for the Christmas recital in December!" Says Sophie.

"Sophie, that's six months away!" Says Samantha.

"I know." Says Sophie.

Mrs Tiffany walks into the dressing room.

"Are you guys ready for Jordan's piece?" Asks Tiffany.

"Yep." Replies the dancers.

"Okay, we need you girls on stage in 15 minutes." Says Tiffany.

MEANWHILE...

Link parks in the parking lot of the auditorium and gets out of the car. He walks through the large doors and into the seating area. He gives the worker his ticket and finds a seat in the middle. He sits down and the lights dim.

Mr Gary comes onto the stage with a microphone.

"Hello. I'm Mr Gary, the founder and fellow teacher of the Gary Geis Dance Company. I want to thank you all for coming out today to see these wonderful dancers perform today. It means a lot to them and to us that you are supporting them, Gem City Ballet, and the New York City Ballet. Thank you."

The crowd claps and Mr Gary walks off. The curtain closes and the lights dim even more.

Sophie stands in the wings of the stage with the other dancers and the curtain opens.

The music starts and the dancers walk onto the stage slowly. The song Say Something plays and Sophie and the dancers dance the beautiful modern choreography expressively.

Link spots Sophie and he smiles.

The dance finishes and the dancers bow.

The audience claps and the dancers run offstage.

Sophie runs backstage and quickly changes into the flowy grey outfit for the ballet dance The Midnight Garden. She puts on her ballet shoes and puts on her headpiece. The dancers run to the wings of the stage and wait for the other dance to finish.

The other dance finishes and the audience claps.

Sophie and the dancers walk onstage and take their poses like Greek statues in a garden. The music starts and they begin dancing slowly and beautifully.

Link looks up at the stage and watches Sophie.

The dance finishes and the dancers run offstage as the audience claps.

They run to the dressing room and Sophie, Maddie, and Samantha put on pretty, short, pink/purple dresses. They take off their hairpieces and run back to the wings of the stage.

Samantha walks onstage and dances to her ballet solo beautifully. She finishes and walks offstage.

Sophie runs onstage and smiles. She starts to dance as the music plays.

Link looks up at her and his jaw drops. His eyes widen as he watches her dance very beautifully like a master ballerina. She finishes and runs offstage.

Link applauds madly.

Maddie runs onstage and dances to her solo beautifully. She runs offstage.

All three girls run onstage and dance to a trio together. They smile at each other and dance happily and gorgeously. They finish and then curtsey together, all three with beautiful smiles plastered across their faces.
