Damon's PoV

"Don't worry Stefan, we all are with you guys." Uncle Alessandro said James nodded at us.

We're currently at Costello Enterprises for our scheduled meeting. I had told my secretary to set a meeting with the Costello's professionally. Last night things didn't went according to our plan. Our meeting with the other mafia leaders were ended up in heated argument in which ofcourse we won. They're hyped that we didn't tell them about Pearl's disappearance before. And we all know they're right to be mad us. It's been one and half year since Pearl is missing and nobody told anything to them. We vowed to protect each other and keep our identity safe. And by not telling them about Pearl's disappearance, we broke the law and especially when the person who disappeared was our king. Ofcourse they didn't know that Pearl Salvatore and their king is the same person. We can't take the risk of exposing his identity. It won't be safe for our family and people who work in Salvatore corp.

But we're worried if the word gets out that the Italian mafia don has disappeared the rivals will do anything to get Italy, there would be war and blood sheds and we can't let that happen. Innocent people could die and that will be all on us.

We already did that damage on that day we can't make the same mistake twice and that's the reason we kept quiet. They fear Pearl, his presence alone can make any man tremble in fear. So imagine if the rivals learn  about his absence.

"We will find him." Liam said and we nodded.

"What will happen when he comes back?" James sudden question took us by surprise. We didn't thought that before. Italian government is after him including both the FBI and Interpol. The second he step inside Italy they'd get alert. They held him responsible for what happened that day and not to forget that he killed the prime minister of Italy. Every evidence is led to him.

"We will think of something to save him don't worry." Antonio said and we nodded hesitatingly.

"Do you think the interpole-" Liam was cut off by his phone ringing. He look at the caller ID then put it back in.

"I was saying-" he once again was cut off by his phone ringing.

"Who's that?" James ask

"Nothing I'll call her later." Liam said rejecting the call. Before we could say anything his phone rang once again.

"Just pick up man." Steve said.

"Hello?" Liam spoke, "I'm sorry munchkin I'm in office...."

"We need to talk with new prime minister maybe offer him some deal." Uncle Alessandro suggested.

"I think that's a good idea. We'll offer him a deal which he can't deny." I said and James smirk at me.

"Sounds like a plan." Antonio said nodding.

"I heard he's nothing like the precious one." James said

"Well nobody can deny a room full of money, huh?" I stated nudging at Liam who was busy on his phone with god knows whom.

"Put the phone down Liam. Tell your girlfriend to call later." I asked annoyingly. James chuckled.

"That's not my girlfriend that's my cousin." He glared at me.

"Oh no it's just a friend messing around." Liam said on the phone. "What? No, he's just.. why?" He mumbled.

"What?" I asked when he frowned.

"She's asking who are you?" He whispered keeping the phone away.

"Oh no bro! I've a fiance waiting for me at home. I can't date." I surender myself and they all bust of laughing.
