The weekend came quickly for Wanda as it was a Saturday and she was driving to Helen's house. She had dropped by to check on the new house that she had planned for Brie and her brother. Maybe she was starting to accept the fact that they were supposed to be together. As long as they were both happy, she didn't see a need to oppose it any longer. She was supposed to be happy for them and not the total opposite. She pulled up at Helen's place and carried her bag down. She could hear Wally crying. Damn! She thought. Raising a baby was a lot of work. She wasn't sure if she was willing to sign up for all this crying and noise. She rang the doorbell and waited for somebody to come to get the door but nobody came. She rang the doorbell again, waited for some seconds then let herself in. The whole house was in disarray. She met Tracy and Tristan yelling at each other over heaven knows what

"Hey!"

She screamed at both of them and they both kept quiet. They were so surprised to see her

"That's enough"
"It's her fault!" Tristan said
"You liar. It's his fault" Tracy said in her defense
"I don't care whose fault it is. Both of you should shut up and put this place back in order before I get back down here or else you would both be in trouble. Am I clear?"
"Yes aunt Wanda," They said in unison

She rolled her eyes and took her bag into the guest room. Wally was still screaming. She had managed to shut up two kids, she could definitely shut a crying baby up. She left the guest room and knocked on Helen's door

"Come in"

Helen said. Wanda went in and found her sister looking like a mess. She was tired and stressed. She noticed Richard wasn't in the room either. Lucky guess, she had left the house. Wally was still crying

"I don't know what's wrong with him. I fed him, changed him, and sang to him. He's not quieting down"

Wanda sighed as she carried him. She rocked him, walking around the room. Wally stopped crying minutes later. Maybe that was what he needed

"You're a lifesaver, Wanda"
"Don't mention it"
"See Tracy and Tristan on your way up?"
"Yes, the whole house is a mess. Where the hell is Richard?"
"Honestly, I don't know but I think he's out with his guys. He said something about going to watch a football match at one of their houses"
"He left you alone with three kids and left the house"

She said as she stopped pacing. Wally started to cry again and she started to walk around

"Apparently. Tracy and Tristan have been at each other's throats all day. I just don't know how to handle everything at the same time. I still have to clean up the house"
"Not on my dead body will I let you do that. I would put Wally to sleep and clean the house. You should get some rest. You look like you haven't slept in days"
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, totally. I'd order dinner if I'm too tired to cook it"
"Thanks, Wanda"
"You're welcome sis"

She said, still walking around the room. Wally was starting to fall asleep. Very soon, he slept off completely and she put him down in his crib and went down to check on Tracy and Tristan. The house was starting to look sane. They had put away books and crayons and throw pillows back to where they belonged. They had arranged the sitting room and it was nicer than before

"Tristan, go get the vacuum cleaner. Tracy, that dress you're wearing is so dirty. Go change it"

Tristan went into the kitchen and tract went up to her room. She was glad they were this obedient. She felt bad for yelling at them earlier but we'll, you gotta do what you gotta do. She said in her head and she knew that she was just trying to console herself. Tristan brought the vacuum cleaner and see cleaned up whatever was left. She did the dishes although she hadn't done that in a while considering the fact that she had a dishwasher back home. She washed and dried them carefully so she doesn't break any. After that, she decided to make dinner. She was exhausted. Her phone rang. She looked at it and groaned. Gerald. What did he want now? Gerald was her ex. One she intensely despised because he cheated on her. Not that she took him seriously but she was just upset that he actually had the guts to cheat on her with somebody half her worth. She left him then he broke up with the other girl and came to beg her. She said she wasn't interested anymore and he could go live his life the way he wanted. She picked his call either way and tried not to sound like a bitch

"Hey, Wanda. Long time no see or should I say hear"
"Hey"
"Nice to hear your voice"
"I wish I could say the same thing"
"I was expecting this... Uhm...  What should I call it again? coldness and rudeness from you so I wouldn't let it get to me"
"Yeah. Good luck with that"
"So I just got back into town and I was thinking. Would you like to grab lunch with me sometime next week?"
"I'm sorry. I'm busy"
"C'mon Wanda. I promise to behave"
"Arghhhhhh"
"Except you can't look at me because you still have some feelings for me"
"You flatter yourself, Gerald"
"Then have lunch with me"
"Alright then. Tuesday evening. Claire's kitchen. 6 pm"
"Claire's? You still eat there. That's nice"
"What? Too expensive?"
"You know you're not the only billionaire in town right?"
"Well, last I checked, my net worth is still higher than yours"

She heard him sigh. She smiled. She knew she was getting to him already
