"Yeah, what's that?" Her boss asked
"Can you hire somebody in the entertainment department? I mean we are definitely understaffed there"
"Oh, I thought you were never going to ask. So who do you have in mind?"
"Gabriel Cage"
"The same Gabriel cage? Are you serious? Do you know him?" Her boss asked, surprised
"Yes, I do. You are not the only one with connections to popular people"
"Oh wow, that's amazing Wanda. Why is he looking for a job though?"
"His former boss underpays him and still treats him like total crap"
"That is really amazing. For somebody who everybody wants, you are supposed to treat the person like a precious jewel"
"So he is currently looking for a job. Would you hire him?"
"Of course, I will. You should give him a call and tell him to come by tomorrow morning and he might probably resume tomorrow morning"
"Alright. Thank you so much"
"You are welcome and please give Mr. Davidson a phone call and tell him that the lawyer of the citizen's daily newspaper would get across to him within the next Twenty four hours"
"Yes sir"
"You also don't have to worry about the payments of the case. The company would handle every expense, come what may"
"I really don't know what to say. Thank you so much"
"You are welcome. Just get back to work and make sure you give him a piece of your mind on Twitter in the next two hours"
"Yes sir"

Wanda said as she left the office. She was expecting her boss to scold her and tell her how she was ruining the image of his company but he wasn't doing any of that. He was being really understanding and he was even willing to pay for everything. She sighed, maybe she was really lucky after all. She got back into her office and opened the Twitter app on her phone. She tweeted

"I find it extremely amusing to think that someone as mature as Arthur Davidson would make an article about me and try to ruin my image and reputation just because I said no to being his girlfriend. I thought he could take a no with pride but I was wrong. Apparently, he made an article about me almost twenty-four hours after I said no. I was surprised to see that I was the trending topic for this morning. Well, at least I am trending"

She hit the send button and felt satisfied. She barely dropped her phone when it started to vibrate. People in support of her started to show up, retweeting and reposting her tweet. She sighed. She thought of deleting the tweet but she decided against it. It should go viral just the same way his article went viral. She picked up her phone and was about to dial his number when her phone rang. It was him. She cleared her throat before picking up his call

"Wanda Arnold. How can I help you?"
"Quit the formality. Take down that tweet or you would hear from my lawyer very soon"
"Really? After making an article about me? I think you would be the one hearing from the lawyer of the citizens and for your information, Dylan and I are very cool friends and in fact, I had dinner at his place on Saturday, not that you need to know but I just thought you should. Now you have nothing to say? Or did you suddenly lose your voice? I didn't think so. I guess I would be seeing you in court then Mr. Davidson. Have a nice day and also, you might get fired. Think about that"

She said as she hung up. Arthur should have known better. If he didn't apologize, she would ruin his career not because she wanted to but because her boss wanted to. If Phil hated anything, it was taking advantage of your position to bully or ruin others. Her phone rang and it was Arthur. She rolled her eyes and waited for it to ring the third time before she picked up the phone call

"What the hell do you want? I thought I was clear enough. Unlike you, I still have a job and I have work to do"
"Wanda, I shouldn't have. I apologize. It was immature of me. I have taken down the article already"
"Apologize publicly and I would talk to my boss about you getting fired"
"Apologize publicly? What the hell"
"When I see the tweet, I would talk to my boss. Until then, you and I have absolutely nothing to talk about. You have twelve hours. If by the close of work I don't see that apology, you would be talking to my lawyer next, and trust me, he is the best. You would be charged to court"
"Wanda, wait!"
"Twelve hours Mr. Davidson"

She said as she hung up again. This was amazing. She knew that Arthur was a very proud person and he would rather die than apologize publicly to a girl. As he said, no woman has ever turned him down. It was the first time and she was the first person. She picked up her phone and dialed Gabriel's number. He wasn't picking up. She thought of calling Dylan to tell him about the good news but she changed her mind. She didn't even want to talk to him. She had told him to call her back to tell her how the ceremony went the day before but he didn't. Noon came in and her sister's kids were dropped off at her office. Time flew fast and it was six. She packed her laptop and headed down to her car when her phone beeped. It was an apology tweet. She read it and tucked her sister's kids in her car. She sent her boss a text and her boss agreed to let the case slide. She sighed and drove home. The last thing she wanted was drama with anybody at all.
