"And to you?" She asked him
"To me? You're everything. You are all I want and need"
"Yeah, you are probably drunk"
"Maybe"Dylan said as he sat beside her. He looked into her cup
"Oh my, that's heavy. Why are you drinking?" He asked her
"Why are you drinking too?" She asked him back and he got her pointHe smiled and shook his head. She asked for another cup and the bartender brought it. She took it down again
"Wanda, you should stop"
"Don't tell me what to do"She said as she asked for the whole bottle. The bartender did give her and she settled with it. Dylan shook his head. He knew that she was going through a lot and this was the only way she thought she could heal up and to an extent, he knew that she only had one comfort, alcohol. He hadn't been there for her, nobody had been there for her. She was alone. She was tired of being alone. Her siblings had spouses to support them and get them through a hard time and she had nobody. The one person she had was keeping his distance and he was in Abu Dhabi. He was sure that Gabriel rarely texted her or called her these days because of what happened between them. It was past midnight when they left the club. She was really drunk and Dylan wasn't going to let her drive home on her own. He carried her to her car and drove off to her place. It was really convenient for him because he didn't drive to the club. He had ordered a ride there. He drove her home and got her on her bed. He turned to leave when he heard
"Don't leave"
He turned back and saw that her hand was out, stretched to him. She might have been drunk but he didn't mind. Drunk or not, he would do anything to spend a night with her. He took her hand and dropped onto her bed. He pulled her close and sniffed her. She smelled like vodka yeah but her scent was stronger than the vodka. He took it in and let it play with his head. He loved her and he couldn't deny that fact anymore. He would do anything to have her and now he did but he wasn't going to take advantage of the fact that she was drunk. He let his arm roam freely on her body, taking in every edge and curve she had. She was sound asleep. He stopped. It was only a matter of time before he had an erection and he knew he had issues with his self-control. He closed his eyes and took in deep breaths before finally falling asleep.

He woke up and found her asleep. He got up and decided to find his way to the kitchen. He grabbed a bottle of water and drank it up. He grabbed another and took it up for her. She eventually woke up and she blinked. She saw him in her room. The first thing she did was look under her duvet
"Don't worry. I didn't do anything to you while you were drunk"
"I am not scared of you. I am scared of myself. Don't flatter yourself"She said with a spinning head. She collected the bottle of water and opened the drawer beside her bed. She took out some pain relievers and flushed them down with the water
"That would probably not do any good to you if you don't sleep. I can prepare breakfast for you"
"Don't act like we are friends" she saidShe dropped onto her bed and threw the duvet over her face
"Don't act like we are friends? Wanda, I just drove you home. Can you be grateful for once in your life?"
"Whatever"He scoffed. He sat on her bed
"Hey," he said
"What?"
"I'm sorry. I kept my distance and I thought that it was what was best for you and Gabriel"
"Ma and Gabriel? There is no me and Gabriel! Every time you do something that is best for me, it never ends well for either of us"
"Yeah, point proven and I'm sorry. I am really sorry for everything. I would do anything and everything possible to make it up to you"
"Oh yeah?" Wanda asked
"Yeah"
"Then start by making me breakfast. I am starving"She said and smiled at him. He looked at her and laughed.
"Alright. Breakfast it is"
He said as he left her room to fix her something to eat and maybe himself too.

She woke up. She was back in the office. She and Dylan had grown close over the past month when he drove her home when she was drunk. He was always calling and texting and picking her up from work. He would always take her out to dinner and buy her chocolates and teddies. He was trying to make up for everything he had done since he left her when they were teenagers. He had called her today so they could grab dinner but she said she had other plans and she did. Work closed and she grabbed her bags immediately
"Are you heading somewhere?" Gabriel asked
That was the first thing he had said to her since the day started
"Yeah, I am"
"Dylan?"
"No. Not Dylan"
"Oh," he said, absentmindedly
"Oh, what?"
"Nothing. I was wondering if you could talk to him for me. Maybe tell him to move back in"
"Why can't you tell him yourself?"
"He wouldn't pick up my calls or reply to my texts"
"Why should he? You left him alone and you did the same with me! Why would you think I would help you talk to him?"
"Because you do care about me and you care about him"
"Maybe I do Gabriel but you don't walk out of people's lives and come back and expect things to be the same way you left it. It doesn't work like that"She said as she grabbed her bag and left the office
