CHAPTER FIFTY FIVE

She went up the stairs because she felt the elevator would have been slower. She got to his room and knocked. She heard footsteps and Gabriel opened the door

"Hey Wanda, I told you he was fine and you didn't need to come here"
"I had to make sure that he were fine. I was worried sick, I still am"
"Gabriel, who's that?"

She heard his voice from inside the room. Gabriel moved away from the entrance and she walked in. She looked at him and her heart hardened back. He was fine. He just had some bruises. She couldn't believe that she was so worked up over nothing.

"I didn't think you were going to come here"

He said, almost sounding ungrateful

"I thought you'd be close to being dead. The least I could do was come say goodbye"

She said back

"Hey!" Gabriel screamed at the both of them then remembered that they were in a hospital. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "I am going to walk out that door and give you both the space you need to talk about whatever is going on with you. You guys are going to talk and settle this and if you both want to end it again and go your seperate ways, do it. What I am not going to take from the both of you is your silly attitudes. You guys ought to have outgrown this crap you're doing considering the past you have with each other but no! You still behave like the same teenagers from back then!"

He said almost all at once and that left them speechless. He rolled his eyes and walked out of them. He was so hurt to see them like that because to him, he felt like he had sacrificed so much for them to be together and if they were not together, that sacrifice was in vain. He just couldn't understand how two people could love each other and still hurt each other so much. It made no sense to him. He had found Lucia and she had been the light in his life and he wouldn't want them to be in that sort of situation. After he left the room, silence hung around the both of them. When Dylan couldn't take it anymore, he spoke up

"I am sorry. I just didn't know how to tell you"
"You just didn't know how to tell me? For pete's sakes, you kept the fact that you have a child, a whole freaking child Dylan. How could you keep something as big as a child from me? We were in a relationship for goodness sakes!"
"Were? I never ended things. You never told me you ended things"
"You have a kid! What am I supposed to do?"
"Allow me explain so we can find a way to fix this together!"
"If you wanted us to fix this together Dylan, you should have told me"
"And what would you have done?!" He asked, already yelling at her. "What the hell would you have done Wanda? You already ended things in your head so tell me, what would you have done?"
"That child needs a father"
"And he has one! Or his mom at least
"Your fiance? She's messed up in the head. I can't imagine her being a mother to anyone"
"I am not engaged to her! There is nothing between us. I have nothing to do with Freya! You have to understand that the only thing that binds us is little Gabby and she has custody of that child because she's weaning him. Once he turns three, I am taking full custody of him and I would train him myself and I was going to tell you. It is not like I could even keep it from you forever!"
"I would have preferred to hear it from you than to hear it from her! Don't you understand? It would have been better if it came from you than her! You don't understand it!"
"Wanda!"
"What?!"
"I'm sorry okay, I am really sorry. I know how selfless you can be and I know the solution you would come up with is to leave me just so I can be with my kid but I am not leaving you again. I am not ending things with you. I lost you once, I wouldn't do that again. I love you and I know you love me so if you do, please stay with me and let's fix this together! Let's raise Gabby together"
"I can't"
"Why can't you?"
"Because I just can't. I can't raise a kid. I never want to raise one!'
"You have to be kidding me. Why don't you?"
"I do not want to talk about it. You should get some rest. I'd check up on you later on"

She said as she stood up and she left the room. She headed to her car and got in. She sighed and her head on the steering wheel. She was tired and exhausted both mentally and physically. She ignited get car and headed to a bar. She got there and ordered a drink and took it down at once

"To heavy, don't you think?"

She heard someone say. She ignored because she was sure that she knew nobody there. She ordered another shot and she was about to gulp it down when she was stopped. She looked up at the person and she was definitely going to run her mouth when she saw that the person was a girl

"I think you should stop"

Wanda scoffed and rolled her eyes and brushed her hand off

"I think you should mind your business!" Wanda retorted
"Well, I don't know but something tells me that you are my business"
"Do I know you?"
"No you don't but c'mon, you're pretty famous"
"So?" Wanda asked
"So, you shouldn't expect everybody that talks to you to be known by you. Anyways, I'm Lucia"

She said with a smile
