She was extremely quiet for the rest of the day. She was hurt. When it was five on the dot, she packed her bags and left the office. She drove home and got behind her doors just to break down and cry. She couldn't believe it. There was no way it could be true. How could he have a son and not tell her about it? Why did he not tell her that he was bound to someone with a child? Was he aware that he had a child? What if he had no idea and this crazy woman was acting on her own? What if he wasn't the father of the child? What if there was no child in the whole story? What if everything was just some cooked-up lie? Too many questions ran through her mind. She knew that all she needed to do was ask him and hear what he had to say but for some reason, she felt like he did have a child. He had always been so secretive about his love life when he left the country to study. Every time she asked him about it, she was always getting turned down. He would tell her that the past wasn't important as it would never affect the present or the future. She would always let it go but deep down, she knew that he was hiding something. Heck! She knew him all too well. Was this what he was hiding? The fact that he had a child with another woman? She cried her eyes off and slept off right behind the door.

He was driving back from work when his phone rang. He looked at it. Gabriel. Why was Gabriel calling him though? His car probably broke down at the office and he would need a ride home. Dylan made a U-turn and started to drive towards the office even before picking up the call. He knew he was going to see Wanda there and he would do anything to see her for a few minutes even if it meant being Gabriel's personal assistant. Gabriel called again and Dylan picked it up
"Hey, I'm headed to your office right now. Did your car break down again?"
"No, my car didn't break down, and what the hell? Why would you think that I'm calling you because my car broke down?"
"I don't know, I just figured that you would need a ride home since it's just five on the dot and you close by five"
"Well, that's not why I am calling you. You should call Wanda"
"Why? Is she okay? Did something happen to her?"
"Yes, something happened to her! Freya showed up here and she told Wanda everything. Wanda knows about Gabby junior. She does and I think she probably hates you right now"
"She what? Freya showed up at your office? Are you kidding me right now?"
"I wish I was Dy but I'm not. You shouldn't have kept this from her. She was going to find out one way or the other and she did. It would have been better if she heard it from you and not from your stupid ex. She went on and on and even said something about the both of you getting back together. I mean I don't believe it but Wanda does"
"I'd call her. I'd head to her place now. Thanks"
"Just try to fix it before it's too late"
"Is she still at the office right now?"
"No, she left some minutes ago. You might probably drive past her pretty soon"Gabriel said as he hung up. Dylan went crazy. How could Freya do something like this to him? He had paid her off to never tell anybody that he was the father of that baby and she had agreed to it. He wasn't shying away from the responsibilities that came with having a baby but he wasn't ready to let it ruin anything he has with Wanda. Freya had promised that nobody would ever find out that Dylan was the father of the baby and she had broken that promise
"Lord, just help me"
He said a quick prayer and he started to call Wanda. She wasn't picking up any of his calls. He kept dialing her number but she wasn't answering. He had dropped several voicemails and had texted her but she wasn't responding to any. He had begged and apologized and pleaded for a chance to explain himself but he got no response. He arrived at her house and saw her car outside. He walked to the door and tried to open it but it was locked from the inside. He reached under the flower vase for the key. He found it and kissed it. He slid it into the keyhole but it wasn't budging. He figured that she must have left her key in the keyhole on the other side. He knocked and knocked. He rang the doorbell several times but no one came out of the house. She didn't answer the door either. He kept calling her number too. After almost three hours of standing and knocking on the door, he decided to leave and give her space. He called her one more time before heading toward his car. He got in and drove off. He sighed and blinked away tears and tried to focus on the road ahead of him. Everything became blurry in a few seconds and he blinked. For the first time in a long time, tears flowed down his face. He realized that he had messed up pretty bad and Gabriel was right. He should have told her right from the very beginning. He didn't want her to see him as a player or something so he kept his ugly past away from her thinking he was protecting her but he was just protecting himself. He was scared that if she found out, she would leave him and tell him to be with his child. He blinked again
