She hopped into her car and headed to vogue. The hell though? She thought. She had been avoiding that place ever since she got their email. Crazy how fate had a way of working things out. She drove for about an hour and arrived there. She found a free parking spot and parked her car there. She looked at her mirror to check if her makeup was in place. She took a deep breath, how down from her car, and headed into the building. Walking into the air-conditioned reception, she was received with a warm smile from the receptionist.

"Good morning, how can I help you?"
"Good morning. I am here to see the managing director of this place, Mr. Arthur"
"Do you have an appointment with him?"

The receptionist asked. Damn! She thought. She didn't book an appointment and didn't call him that she was on his way here. She sighed. She felt so stupid

"Actually, I do not have an appointment but I got his email and he's been asking me to come to see him about some interview"
"Hold on a second"

The receptionist said with excitement.

"You are Wanda Arnold? Like the same Wanda Arnold?"
"Yeah....."

She said. She didn't know whether she should be excited or surprised

"It is so nice to finally meet you. I'm Natasha. Everybody calls me Tasha though"
"Nice to meet you"
"You too Miss Arnold"
"Please, call me Wanda"
"Alright then. I would tell Mr. Arthur that you're here. We've been waiting a long while for you to show up"
"I apologize about that. Thank you"

She said. Did that even sound right to anybody? She looked at the receptionist all excited. Was she that important? She asked herself. Almost everybody she knew treated her like trash and there was somebody right here who was all excited to see her

"This way"

The receptionist said as she interrupted Wanda's thoughts. Wanda smiled at her and followed her. The receptionist opened the door and then left. Wanda took a deep breath and went in

"Good to finally meet you. My name is Arthur"
"Well you know who I am already"

She said, taking his extended hand for a handshake. She couldn't help but notice how handsome he was. Broad shoulders, ocean blue eyes, a shaved jaw, nice hair, nice lips. She blinked the thoughts away

"I must say, you did take your time in responding to our emails and texts"
"And I apologize for that. I have had so much to do in the past few weeks and I really didn't have any time to respond or drop by"
"I was starting to think that you didn't want to do the interview"
"Well I am here now"

She said. He smiled at her and she felt her toes curl. They got down into business. They started talking about her career. She noticed the way he took notes. She took glances at him when he did. She was fighting the urge to touch his hair. They looked silky and soft. The telephone on his desk rang. He picked it up

"Yeah?"

After a few words, he said

"Send him in"

Then he hung up

"Somebody would be joining us, hope you don't mind"
"I don't"

Wanda said and wished she could take it back immediately after the person came in. His cologne filled the whole room. Blue waters, just as she remembered. She looked back. Their eyes met and felt chills running down her spine

"Mr. Davidson. So nice to meet you. This is Miss Arnold"
"I know, we were friends from high school. I wasn't expecting to see you here though"

She was about to speak when her phone rang. She excused herself and looked at her screen, Mr. Alex

"I have to go. Something is up at work"
"Oh, that's fine," Arthur said. "We can pick it up sometime later, like tomorrow?"
"Definitely. I'd see you tomorrow"

She said as she walked out. Arthur kept looking at her roll she disappeared out the door. Dylan was utterly disgusted. Why the hell was he looking at her?

"I take it the both of you have a history together?"
"I wish we did"

Dylan said, lying. He already vowed that that part of his life was private and he wasn't going to give it to any reporter as a story. He was going to bury that part of his life deep inside his heart because those moments were the best of his life. He hadn't found any other person like her and he didn't want to. Seeing her here today was more than enough to make his day

"Alright then, let's get down to business"

Arthur said as he started to interview him.

"So, the media has no information about your relationship status. Would you like to talk about that?
"Maybe. I'm not married. I don't think I would be married anytime soon"
"Any reasons for this conclusion?"

Arthur asked

"Not really. I think I already met the perfect girl, the one for me but I made a mistake that is proving to fix so until I fix things with her, I don't think I am ready to get married"
"And what if this "her" doesn't want to fix things?"
"Well, I guess she isn't the one for me then and life has better things to offer"

Not the reply he was expecting so Arthur pressed further

"You know the famous journalist, Miss Adams, and you are friends with Gabriel White"
"Yes I am"
*How would you describe your relationship with this duo?"
"First, there's no duo. They are both mono and mono"

Dylan said as he laughed

"Well, Gabriel has been my best friend ever since we were kids and we've always stuck together since then. He's been a wonderful source of inspiration to me and I don't think I would trade him for anything"
"And Wanda Arnold?"
"Well, we met in high school and we were close but I had to study out of the country and I just go back in recently. I've not had time to hang out with anybody yet but that's definitely on my to-do list"

Dylan said
