I look at kian and he smiles and laughs "this is amazing" he says.

I look up and see the nurse looks confused. "what is it" I ask.

Kian looks at her also she moves the remote around and then at the screen, changing the button. "huh" she says breathing out. "what's wrong"

She sighs "sometimes you can't hear the heart beat this early" she wraps the remote up in the wire "I'll be right back" she smiles nervously and walks out of the room.

I look up scared at kian he bites his lip "it will be ok. don't worry about it!" He smiles and kisses my head. I nod and the door opens

"Hello" the male doctor says. he has black short hair and glasses. I smile "hi" I say.

He picks the remote back up and puts it back in a different spot. the rooms so silent you could hear a pin drop.

Bum bum. bum bum. breaks the silence. a wave of relief washes over me. "My baby" kian says and squeezes my hand and I look at him he has tears in his eyes and I kiss his hand.

The doctor breaths out "there it is" and laughs deeply. He turns on the machine and takes five pictures. They print out and he hands them to kian.

"How old are you nani" he asks me and I start to sweat "18" I say shyly. He nods and smiles at me. I look confused "congrats" he walks out and I pull down my shirt sitting up. We stare at eachother and I let out a laugh.

He laughs along and hugs me. he looks down and kisses me I smile in the kiss. "kian" he grunts "I think we need to tell our parents" he sighs and stands straight again.

"Look if we keep doing it your way, our parents won't even know till the baby's born!" He looks down "fine"

We hold hands and walk out of the office. we say bye to jessica at the desk and go to his car.

Once we start driving I look in my purse and see paper popping out. I pick it up and see the roll of five pictures the doctor took. I look through each one. the baby is holding its thumb up like it's telling me it's all going to be ok. I laugh "kian look at this!" I say laughing.

He looks over and sees the baby I point to the thumb and he laughs "oh my god!" He yells. "that's so cool" he whispers taking the picture. He keeps looking at it making me smile.

He puts it on his dash making it stay so he can see it while driving. I blush and feel a huge rush I emotion. hormones.

We pull into my driveway. I breath in and out knowing my moms going to kill me. We jump out and I hug him again before we go in.

I open the front door shaking. "mom" I say and hear "in here!" I walk hand in hand to the sitting room. I see my mom watching tv with a magazine and wine. "hello kian" she says happily and he bends down and hugs her.

We sit on the other couch. "mom we need to talk" I say nervously she looks at me. "Uh oh" she laughs.

She turns off the tv and faces us fixing her socks. "what's up"

I squeeze Kian's hand, which is sweaty. "mom. I need to tell you something, really serious. please don't hate me."

"Your pregnant huh" I look up from my lap "what" "you heard me" I feel tears in my eyes "mom I'm sorry" she shakes her head and gets up.
