No one's perspective

It's been over three days since the accident, and today was the day they would operate on Izuku again. Bakugou has been regularly visiting the hospital after school hours, watering the flowers he left for Izuku, and taking as much care of him as he can. Ochaco and the rest also came by, and every time they did, they'd find Bakugou sitting by his side or passed out from lack of sleep.

Even so, it was about to be the fourth day since the accident since Izuku fell into a coma, but it was different today. Today Izuku showed signs of waking up soon by moving his fingers lightly. The doctors were happy to know that the second surgery was successful, and they hoped to see Izuku recover in no time.  Since Izuku had no parents or relatives to contact, they kept Bakugou's number in the register and called him to tell him the good news.

Once Bakugou received the call, he excused himself from the class and took the phone outside. When he answered, the RN told him about Izuku, which made him bolt out of the school faster than the flash. He hopped in his car and drove precociously as quickly as possible. When he got there, he rushed through the traffic of pedestrians in the building and immediately headed to the elevators to take him to the third floor.

Bakugou's stomach couldn't stop twirling the knot he had formed from the nerves. He hoped to see Izuku's green emerald eyes shine again, but he saw a nurse checking his vitals when he arrived. And when he approached the boy, his eyelids were still closed, making him sigh.

"Don't worry; he's more than stable. He'll wake up in no time," The nurse reassures the boy before leaving the room to leave the blond alone. He smiles at the thought of seeing Izuku's eyes again, causing him to sit next to him and wait for his awakening.

"I don't know if you can hear me, but I want to tell you something," Bakugou commences his one-on-one conversation with an unconscious corpse. "Remember when I told you I wanted to be a mechanic, and you told me to go for it? Well, I got applied for a job and got accepted. Isn't that great?" The blond continues to talk to Izuku.

"I start working after the semester is over," Bakugou continues to talk but then sighs as he remembers who he is talking to, a person who despises him. "I know I'm the last person you want to see, and I understand that wholeheartedly, but..."

Bakugou reaches over to Izuku's face and carreses his cold cheek. "...I just thought you should know, so you don't have to worry about me not being able to stand on my own two feet," He states, pulling his hand away from the boy's face.

"Anyway, the doctors said you'll be waking up soon, so I'll get out of your hair," Bakugou says as he gets up from the chair, looking at Izuku one last time before leaving. "I don't want to be the first person you see when you wake up," He sighs with sadness. Bakugou contemplates whether to kiss Izuku or not, for old-time sake and for taking that as his last memory of the boy's lips.

Eventually, Bakugou concluded not to do it. He knew it was wrong because the boy was unconscious and no longer an item. Bakugou didn't want to give up on their relationship, not in the slightest, but he needed to give Izuku some space for him to think about. He messed up badly, and he'd hate for Izuku to hate him even more than he already does.

"Okay, um, take care. I'm sure that stupid purpled-haired dumbass will take care of you," Bakugou mutters the last part of his statement to himself, getting jealous over Izuku's roommate.

And without another word, Bakugou looks over his shoulder one last time to look at Izuku before leaving the room and closing the door shut. He shoves his hands inside his hoodie's pockets and heads to the elevator, which takes him down to level one. Once exiting the elevator, he steps out of the building and looks at it one last time.
