Chapter 30: Me and You

No one's perspective

In addition to Bakugou's surprising faint, Izuku's mind was about to explode. He was mad because Bakugou had used him to complete a dare, but at the same time, he was hurt because he loved the blond so much that every time he went anywhere, everything reminded Izuku of him. The greenette stayed for a few hours to tend to Bakugou's sudden faint before calling it a day. He kissed Bakugou on the forehead once he woke up and told him he'd call him so they could get something to eat and talk this out...finally. 

As Izuku heads over to the sidewalk and stands underneath the roof of the bus stop, he sighs by lowering his face and staring at his white shoes that Shinsou tells him to throw away. If it weren't for Shinsou locking me with Bakugou, I don't think I would've been able to know Bakugou's actual feelings. I have to thank him for that, Izuku thinks to himself, long enough for the bus to arrive. 

Once in his seat, he looks out the window and gently lays the side of his head against it. While the bus moves, he watches the street names, lights, and buildings as they slowly begin to pass his vision. I wonder if Bakugou and I would've gotten together if Mina hadn't dared Bakugou to date me, Izuku thinks to himself as he stares endlessly at the scenery. 

After a while, the boy gets off the bus and walks onto the campus to get to his dorm room. Once in front of the door, he twists the doorknob. And as soon as he opens the door, he finds Shinsou going at it with the red maroon box he saw underneath the boy's bed open. The purple hair doesn't notice his roommate standing at the door until he adjusts his focus and widens his eyes, his face flushed with embarrassment. 

"I-I'll come back at another time," Izuku says with shock and embarrassment. Shinsou pulls the dildo out of his hole and tosses it into the box, slamming it shut before covering himself with the covers. 

"D-Don't worry about it! I'm done!" Shinsou yells out. Izuku looks over his shoulder with fear and sees that Shinsou is covered. Shinsou likes anal? Now that I didn't see it coming, Izuku thinks as he walks into the room and closes the door. 

"A-anyway," Izuku clears his throat as he kicks his shoes off and hangs his hoodie in his wardrobe. "I wanted to thank you for the other day," He continues to take off his socks as he sits on the edge of his bed. 

Shinsou pulls his boxers back to his waist and turns his body to look over at Izuku. "Thank me for what?" He asks as he bends his knees one by one to put his socks on. 

"Well, for keeping me locked in the room with Bakugou. I needed to hear his feelings out, even if I didn't want to at the time," Izuku says shyly as he lowers his head, his hand reaching his nape. Shinsou smiles before reaching over for his white tee to throw it on.

"Look, freckles," Shinsou says as he grabs Izuku's attention. He lifts his face and looks at his friend before him. "I know it's hard for you to open up to someone, let alone the person you like, but Bakugou genuinely likes you. Hell, he might even love you," Shinsou continues.

"I get that you've been through enough chaos in your life. And yes, what Bakugou did was stupid and inmature of him, but he saw his mistake and is trying to fix it," The purple head continues, causing Izuku's eyes to tear up. "I saw the situation; I saw his deep feelings the day you were on the verge of death in the hospital, and...I've never seen him so broke and emptied inside," He continues, reaching out for Izuku to wipe his tears away.

"Bakugou may not be a person I particularly like, but by his actions, he cares deeply for you," Shinsou says as he lays his hand on the boy's shoulder. "He's been through hell and back. Don't you think he deserves another chance?" He says last before sitting back on his bed, waiting for Izuku to respond.
