A/N
Welcome back Angels, this chapter may be a bit boring but it holds some key elements and it's extremely long. It contains a little bit of the Japanese Sub. I hope you enjoy although I know some of you may want to kill me. I promise I wasn't trying to torture you guys, well at least not this time🤭🤭🤭

(Yugi's Room)
Yami's POV

"Seems like whoever is after the puzzle will do anything to get it or to make sure that no one else does. When he smashed it to pieces, I thought he destroyed it for good. We barely made it out of that mess alive and I know this is just the beginning. We are in more danger now than ever," Yugi thought to himself.
"Yes, Yugi but now that Y/N reassembled the puzzle, and our bond is back, we can face him together," I told him.

"But we don't have any idea who this guy is. We don't even know what he looks like," He said.
"Maybe, but haven't we been in some tough spots before?" I queried.
"Yeah," He sighed.
"So, we'll get through this one too," I assured him.
"I guess you're right but I feel like a total loser. I almost lost you, Y/N, and the puzzle in that fire. There's no way I can face this enemy. What if I mess up again?" He said.

"You didn't fail," I told him.
"Only cause you and my friends came and saved me. Otherwise, I'd never have escaped," He said.
"You're wrong, Yugi. You need to believe in yourself like
I believe in you. In all my years, I've never encountered a soul as brave as yours or Y/N's. There's a reason why fate handed you the millennium puzzle and brought us together. You have the heart of a true champion and a soul that is courageous and true. In another time, you could've been Pharaoh," I stated.

"I wish we knew more about our new enemy. He said he was familiar with the power of a millennium item. I bet he has one," Yugi said.
"The millennium rod, that's how he controls people's minds. It also seems he knows the ancient customs. Our foe is somehow connected to the past," I stated.
"But who is he?" He asked.
"I don't know," I sighed.
"Then how can we stop him?" He queried.
"Hmm, don't worry, we can defeat this evil together. As long as we stay connected the three of us can face anything," I told him.
"Three of us?" He asked.

"You didn't forget about me, did you?" Y/N teased as she jumped out of the puzzle.
"Y/N! How did you..."
"With this," She said pointing at her ring.
"You two have some explaining to do," Yugi told us.
"Well, Y/N is the reincarnation of my Queen. She was given a necklace and bracelet by Goddess Phoenix to protect her from evil forces while her rings connect her to me so she can appear anywhere I am with it," I explained.
"Why didn't you tell me before?" He asked.
"We wanted to but there was still so much we didn't know. Just like him, there's a lot I still don't remember," Y/N said.

"Oh," He sighed.
"As albi was saying, fate brought us together for a reason and we will take this new enemy down," She stated.
"Maybe, but what if I fail again? How do I know I won't lose you both?" Yugi asked with tears streaming down his cheeks.
"We believe in you, Yugi," I assured him while placing my hands on his as he held the puzzle.
"He's right and you need to start believing in yourself as well," Y/N said wrapping her arms around us pulling us into a group hug.

"I've gotta go, my parents are flying to America tomorrow and I'm making them dinner tonight. I'll see you both later and Yugi greatness resides in you, don't let the fear of the unknown enemy keep you from showing the world who Yugi Mutou truly is," Y/N told him before she re-enters the puzzle.
"She's right, you know?" I asserted.
"Hmm, you're not just worried about our enemy and your past but her also, aren't you?" He asked.
"I can't help it. I know something extremely horrendous happened in our past but I don't know what. What I do know is that it's my duty to protect you both. I'd never forgive myself if anything were to happen to either of you," I told him.
