[THIRD PERSON'S POV]

After few weeks, the incident from the Marcos' mansion subsided. Stelle's older brothers Brian and Kristopher are visiting her from time to time afraid that their father will come back and force her to come with him.

Samantalang si Stelle ay ginawang busy ang kanyang sarili para kahit papaano ay mawala ang attention niya sa pag-iisip sa kung anumang pwedeng gawin ng Daddy nila.

Pero nang dahil sa nangyari, Stelle's bond with the Marcoses became stronger. They even treat her as their family member. She grew closer to BBM's Son which is Sandro, Simon & Vinny. They also hang out together with their cousins when Stelle have free time since she was the Family's private attorney.

Stelle is currently typing a report through her laptop when her phone rang. Glancing at the last sentence in the paragraph, she saved the file before hurriedly grabbing the phone and answered the call, not even bothering to see who's the caller.

"STELLE" A stern voice was heard in the call. The moment she heard it, she frozed. It was her father. Its been 3 weeks since the incident happen and in the span of it, they never or he never contacted her and her brothers.

"D-dad" she stuttered. Stelle was nervous to talk with her father even its just a call. Suddenly, she heard sobbing sounds in another line,indicating that her father was crying.

"I-I'm sorry" Her father said. This time,it was her who cries. Her tears flows down through her eyes nonstop. While her left hand is holding her lips preventing the sounds of her sobs to reach the phone's speaker.

"I thought controlling your life will be good. Your mom was right, always right. Dapat sinunod ko ang sinabi niyang hayaan kitang piliin ang daan na gusto mo. I should have let you find your own path--"

"No Dad, its okay. Besides, what was done is already done. Mom won't even like it when you're blaming yourself from the past, Dad. Hindi na natin mababago yon." She answered.

"Your brother came here explaining everything today, anak. Pinaliwanag niyang dapat na kitang hayaan sa gusto mo lalo na't you're old enough to handle things on your own. Tinawagan kita dahil gusto kong ipaalam sayo na I'm letting you do what you want. Its just, gusto kong malaman lahat nang gagawin mo, as a father." Her father said that made Stelle cry louder, not preventing her sobs to the phone.

"T-thank you, D-Dad." She answered.

"Anything for you, My daughter." Her father said before ending the call.

Stelle lost her grip on the phone and let it slide from her palm, as she continued to cry after what her father said.

Hindi niya inaakalang gagawin nang dalawa niyang kapatid ang lahat para lang maintindihan nang kanilang ama ang nais nilang mangyari sa kanya. At pagkatapos nilang kumbinsihin at ipaliwanag ang kanilang gustong iparating, naintindihan nang kanilang ama ang lahat at sumang-ayon.

She herself didn't expected it. She knows that her father was strict and straightforward. So, giving her the kife she wanted is a hard wish. Kahit na sa ibang tao ay madaling sabihin na madali lang iyon ibigay.

She understand that her father just wanted a perfect daughter that's why she did everything he wanted to the point taht she can't even breathe with her own so called home. Being a politician means perfect public reputation. And it counts na magkaroon nang disiplinado at matatalinong mga anak.

Even if she lived to the life that many wanted, there are still things that many also didn't wanted to experience. In fact, all of us. And it was having a strict parents.

In her case, her father took care of his publice image to the point he already controlled his daughter's life. After her spouse died, he became miserable. He needed to take guide on his children. Without their mother's care.

But now that the so called-strict father was convinced, Stelle will never struggle keeping her own acts infront of everyone.

"Dad already let me do everything I want. Ang sabi niya lang ay hayaan ko siyang malaman lahat nang gagawin ko dahil sabi niya tungkulin niya iyon bilang isang ama. I understand him, and I'm thankful na he let me choose my own way. Sabi nga nila, ang isang ama ay hindi kayang tiisin na panoorin na naghihirap ang kaniyang anak." Saad ni Stelle,

"I'm glad. Finally you're free. I mean, you already did everything he wanted, isn't it time to do yours?" Jem said,

Stelle was with her bestfriend Jem and Jane, tey agreed to meet up this day since nagkataon na nasa Ilocos din ang dalawa.

"Btw, where's Nicole?" Stelle asked,

"She's on her way here also, pero tinawagan siya nung contractor back in Zambales, she needed to see the blueprint of the house she will build you know" Jane said,

"Sheez, I'm sure being Engineer is hard." Stelle said, but a voice interrupted from behind.

"No, I'm sure being Lawyer is harder since you need to complete evidences to win your case than being an engineer" they all look up where the voice came from to see their bestfriend who's smiling in the doorway of the balcony where they are in.

"Nicole!!" They shouted in chorus and ran towards their bestfriend to give her a group hug.

"Its been a while since we became complete!" Jane said, making Jem nod.

"Kelan pa yung last? Nung birthday ni Stelle last year?! Antagal na!" Saad ni Jem.

"Teka oo nga! And we just reunited ngayong malapit na birthday ni Nicole? Its been 8 months mga besh!" Stelle said,

"And I became more beautiful in person than seeing me in your laptop's screen." Nicole said and flipped her hair.

"Sige thank you, balik kana sa Zambales at mag video call nalang tayong lahat, nawala yung pagkamiss ko sayo, baka sakaling pag nakita kitang nasa screen bumalik, go shoo!" Sabi ni Stelle saka pabirong itinulak si Nicole pabalik sa Van na sinakyan niya

"Best friend ba talaga kita?!" Pag mamaktol ni Nicole.

"Hindi siguro," sagot naman ni Stelle na ikinatawa ni Jane at Jem sa likod na pinapanood silang dalawa.

"Hoy teka! May kailangan kang sabihin samen!!" Sigaw bigla ni Nicole.

"Hoy den gaga, mahiya ka nga hindi saken 'tong bahay na 'to, nakakahiya sa mga Marcos oh." Sabi ni Stelke.

"That's what I want to ask you, why are you here?!" Nicole whispered and wandered her gaze around making sure no one heard waht she said.

"It's a long story"

"We have a one whole month to listen"

Ksksks, parang ang weird kapag tagalong yung conversation or yung narration, pero mas weird kung filipino yung language na sinet ko sa story pero turns out na puro english yung chapters?!

Shesh nevermind, I'll just do it taglish para naman sosyal. HHAHAHA

Pagpasensyahan niyo na yung grammars, alam niyo na, from english magiging tagalog bigla edi magiging wrong grammar din bigla diba? HAHAHAHAH
