STELLE CANONIZADO

The next day, the wound in my foot doesn't hurt much anymore.

When I got down, nakita ko silang lahat na nasa dining table taking their breakfast. I gave them a small smile saka umupo sa tabi ni Sandro since its just the only seat available.

"

How's your foot hija?" I just gave him a nod since may nginunguya pa 'ko. Its  of disrespectful naman kung sasagot akong puno ang bibig diba?

He just nodded back and continued to eat, after that biglang may pumasok na kasambahay sa dining saka sinabing,

"Ma'am, Sir, Mayor Canonizado is outside po." Saad nung kasambahay.

"Don't worry Tita, we already talked about it. He even allowed me to do things on my own na because of my brothers term of convincing him.

Besides we understand your situation. Its not easy to live in that kind of life. I'm happy for you." Saad naman niya saka hinawakan ang kamay ko below the table since she's sitting beside me in right side and Sandro on the left side..

This time kasama si Daddy. Inaya naman siya na kumain ni Tito Bong but he declined saying he already ate.

Sakto namang sabay sabay kaming natapos nila Jem at nagpaalam na tatayo na. They nodded and we immediately went in the living room for privacy.

I should've prepare for you," sabi ko sabay upo sa couch.

"No need. I just came here since we came from Baguio. Masama bang bisitahin ko ang anak ko?" Sagot naman niya.

"Its not that."

After catching up woth each other, Dad's phone rang. It indicated na kailangan na niyang umalis. I bid goodbye to him and led him outside to his car.

Magsasalita pa sana si Dad nang biglang nag-ring ulit yung cellphone niya for the second time. I just nodded at him saka sinabing he should go.

Dad is a busy person. Being a politician isn't easy.

Zambales is our home.

After our Mom died, I admit, nagbago si Dad.

Luckily, our oldest Brother Kuya Kristhoper guided us kapag wala si Dad.

Kuya Kristhoper is 19 years older than me. While he is 13 years older than Kuya Brian. And Kuya Brian is 6 years older than me. Knowing matured na yung pinaka matanda and already have a stable job when Mom died, he still never forget to took care of us.
