Spencer quickly reached over and silenced his alarm. After almost 7 years of being with Olivia, he knew not to disturb her rest. Like he did every morning, he laid awake in his bed, facing the woman that held his heart and smiled at the beautiful sight that laid next to him. Spencer gently rolled out of bed, careful to not make too much noise as he moved to Olivia's side of the bed. He pulled the blankets up over her body before bending down to place a soft kiss onto her cheek. He padded into the bathroom and proceeded to take a shower. Internally, he ran over all of the things that he had to complete for the day, sighing to himself when he realized it would be yet another day that he and Olivia missed each other. Spencer gently smiled at the feeling of cool air behind him and then the feeling of hands rubbing up and down his back.

"Good morning." Olivia whispered before placing kisses onto his shoulders.

Spencer turned to face her, pulling her into his arms to hold her. "Good morning. It's early Liv, you don't have to be awake for another three hours."

Liv looked up at her man, pushing herself even closer to his chest, "I rolled over and you were already out of bed, so I came to find you."

Spencer allowed himself to just be present with her. The NFL had always been his dream, but he found that his new schedule made it hard to have as much one on one time as he would've liked. With Liv's work schedule being just as crazy as his, they had to take any and every opportunity they got to spend time together, even if that meant Liv was up way before she had to be so they could shower together. Liv slowly ran her hands up and down his back, before gently rubbing the back of his neck.

"I miss you." Liv whispered, refusing to make eye contact with him. "I know we literally sleep in the same bed every night but we've both been so busy that I can't help it. Most mornings you're gone when I wake up and then you come home exhausted so you're sleeping when I get back." Liv started to ramble before Spencer gently shushed her.

"Baby, I get it. We've been circling around each other these days and I miss you too." Spencer said as he placed his finger under her chin and softly pushed her head up so their eyes could meet. "I miss coming home to you and just laying on the couch with you. I miss watching you get ready in the morning, hell, I even miss you taking all the hot water in the morning." Spencer chuckled as he rubbed the nape of Olivia's neck. "We need some time for us. No phones, no deadlines, no football, just you and me."

Liv's eyes closed as she relaxed into Spencer's comforting touch, something else that she'd been deprived of since their schedules went haywire.

"That sounds amazing but when are we going to find the time to do that?" Liv asked.

"We'll make the time. I'll move my schedule around for this weekend and we can take a trip up to the cabin for a few days. We'll disconnect from anything and everything that isn't you and me." Spencer suggested as he moved one of his hands to the small of her back. "Besides, I don't know how much longer I'm going to make it without getting a chance to love on you girl." He began to place soft kisses to her neck. "What do you say? You want to clear your schedule for me Ms. Baker? I'll make it worthwhile."

Olivia tilted her head back to give him more access before pulling back to look him in his eyes. "That was a very convincing argument Mr. James, I guess I'll be opening up my schedule this weekend." Spencer pressed his lips against hers, placing one of his hands on her neck and the other on the swell of her ass, gripping it as he drew her into him. Liv hitched one of her legs up, opening herself up to him, before starting to grind against him. Both allowing themselves to get lost in the feeling of hands running over their bodies and lips kissing all the right places. Before either one of them could go any further, the sound of both of their phones ringing could be heard from their bedroom.

"This weekend can't come soon enough." Olivia said as they reluctantly pulled away from each other, finishing their shower and returning to the chaos of their everyday lives.
