***NSFW*** Not that any of you ever complain about it

Olivia's fingers flew across her laptop as her focus stayed on the article she'd been writing. She'd been working extremely hard to meet this deadline and that meant that all of her time and energy went into her work. It also helped that Spencer had smart mouthed his way onto her bad side last night, so she truly had no excuses or distractions. They had been discussing their upcoming schedules and a comment had been made about which one of them was having to manage more things on their plate and sacrifice more for their work schedules to not clash with their needs in their relationship. Normally Liv would have instantly given him the silent treatment but instead she'd kissed him and returned to her apartment for the night, red flag number one, before throwing herself into work.

She'd told her parents, friends, brother, and Spencer that she would be busy all day today. She reminded them that she was going to be locked in at work and turning off her phone so she could focus. Spencer had tried to call her last night, but she let it ring and kept working. He'd left a voicemail that she still hadn't listened to yet.

Her focus was tested when she heard someone knock on her door, but she kept writing instead of answering it. If it was important, it would be there when she was finished.

"Really Liv?"

She jumped, hitting her knee on her desk, as her eyes landed on her boyfriend who was leaning against the doorframe.

"Ouch! Damn it!" Liv grumbled out as she rubbed her knee before finally addressing Spencer. "What are you doing here?"

Spencer set his bag down on the floor and walked closer to her desk.

"You never called me back last night, so I thought I'd hear from you this morning, but you didn't call me, so I came to check on you."

Olivia stifled the eye roll that she felt coming and returned her attention to her article.

"I've been working on this article. I have a deadline to meet, and I want this to be perfect."

Spencer moved so that he was standing behind her at her desk and placed his hands on her shoulders, gently rubbing out the tension.

"You could have called me back baby. I was worried about you."

The little bit of anger that had remained from last night was slowly disappearing as he rubbed her tense shoulders. The reason Spencer and Liv never had long disagreements was because they couldn't stay mad at each other for long. Spencer wasn't dumb, he knew he had upset her last night and here he was trying to get back into her good graces.

Olivia cleared her throat and put her hands back on her keyboard, she still needed to finish that article.

"Wait." Spencer's soft voice intruded on her focus once again. "Take a break for a few minutes." He said as he moved one of his hands to the back of her neck, smiling as she slightly leaned into his touch.

Olivia's body was agreeing with him, but her brain was demanding that she finish her work.

"I can't. I'm almost done with this, then I can take a break."

Spencer lowered himself down to her level and placed the softest kiss to her neck, testing her already weak resolve.

"Spencer," Liv whispered as her hands stop typing.

He ghosted kisses along her neck, pulling her farther from her work and closer to his plans for her body.

"Liv, take a break."

She could feel him smile against her skin as she pushed back from her desk and finally faced him. He wasted no time, quickly scooping her up out of her chair and moving her down the hall to her room.
