Olivia was spread ridiculously thin with Spencer on the road and all three kids under the weather. SJ was the easiest to handle when sick, he truly just wanted to be alone. That helped since Aaliyah refused to take any medicine and Isaiah wouldn't let Olivia out of his sight.

Olivia was so busy trying to juggle sick kids, working, and staying sane that she didn't notice SJ answer her phone when Spencer called.

"Hi Daddy." SJ sniffled as he greeted his father with a small smile and wave.

Spencer greeted his first born with enthusiasm and a hint of worry. Liv always kept her phone next to her when he was out of town, SJ having it was a small concern.

"Hi buddy, how are you?"

SJ sneezed, frowning up his face in a way that mirrored his father, before launching into a detailed story on all the chaos that Spencer had missed while on the road. As SJ explained how sick his siblings were, Spencer began to worry about Olivia. He shot a quick text to his mother, asking her to swing by his place and check in on his wife who from the sound of things was getting worn out.

"Daddy, when do you come home?" SJ asked, fighting back a yawn.

"I'll be home in two days man, but you'll be asleep when I get back, so I'll see you when you wake up on Thursday."

Satisfied with that answer, SJ said goodbye to his dad and ended their phone call, giving Spencer time to adjust his schedule and try to get home early to help his wife.

Having JJ as a manager was eventful to say the least. JJ knew when to push Spencer out of his comfort zone and when to allow him to thrive in the areas he already excelled in. Another benefit to having one of your best friends as your manager, them knowing that nothing, and no one comes before your family. JJ immediately began to move Spencer's schedule around so that he could get home to his wife and children, he knew that his friends head and heart were already at home, so he figured it was best for his body to join up. Once Spencer's business dealings were tabled, the duo made their way back to California, hoping that Olivia was still fairing well with the headache that was three sick kids.

----

Spencer made it back to his home around 8PM. Normally, at least one of his children would be sleep by this time but based off the noise he could hear from the other side of his front door, his kids were awake and giving their mother hell.

"SJ, can you hand me the medicine please?" Liv asked as she rubbed Aaliyah's back, attempting to soothe the restless girl.

Spencer walked into the house and was met by Isaiah who looked as if he was about to start crying.

"Come here man." Spencer softly called for his younger son, holding him to his chest, "Let's go see what mommy is doing."

Olivia's eye filled with tears at the sight of her husband. She hadn't realized how worn out she was until he walked in. Spencer quickly gave Aaliyah her medicine and scooped her into his empty arm, soothing both of their younger children and giving SJ and Olivia a few minutes to breathe.

"Daddy missed you guys." Spencer whispered as he let the sound of his voice and heartbeat lure his younger two children to sleep. He stood there, rocking them gently, before silently asking Liv if they were actually asleep. He slowly made his way up the stairs to place them into their beds, turning on humidifiers and night lights before he made his exit, and went to retrieve SJ. SJ launched himself into his fathers' arms, overjoyed that his dad cut his trip short.

"I'm so glad you're home." SJ whispered as he tucked his head under Spencer's chin. "I missed you."

Spencer smiled at his oldest before reaching for his wife who was still stood in the spot that he'd left her in when he came inside the house. He wrapped them into his warm embrace, chuckling to himself as he felt Olivia lean all of her weight into him. His kids had clearly worn her out the past few days and he was more than happy to take on the role of caring for them so she could get some rest.

"Don't ever leave me here with them again." SJ begged causing his parents to laugh.

Eventually Spencer carried his sleeping first born to bed too, tucking him in and taking a moment to stare at the sleeping child that was growing into such an incredibly kind human being. SJ truly did have all of the best parts of both of his parents and to witness him grow was something that Spencer never took for granted.

He quietly made his way back downstairs to clean the living room a little bit, with Olivia in the shower he finally had a chance to do something nice for his wife. He quickly queued up a movie that she'd been wanting to see, lit some candles, grabbed her favorite snacks, and the throw blanket from the end of the couch. He waited patiently for Liv, knowing that she'd come looking for him since he wasn't in their bedroom.

"Spencer?" He heard her call, clearly out of the shower and ready for some one-on-one time with her husband.

"In here."

Liv stood in the doorway of the living room, taking in the set up of their favorite pass time.

"Movie night?" She asked with a smile as she made her way into his arms.

"Figured we could use some time to ourselves after these last few days." Spencer explained as he shifted to make her more comfortable against his chest. "Thank you, Olivia." He whispered, shifting so that he could look her in her eyes so he could explain the depth of his gratitude. "I know that it's not easy when I'm on the road and you're here with the kids. But you never complain. You always push me to go after the things that are important to me, you handle our chaotic life with elegance while still managing to care for three kids and thrive in your career, Liv, you are everything that I could ever ask for in a partner. You truly are the realest member on my team."

Olivia pulled Spencer into a slow kiss, relishing in the feeling of them getting a chance to physically reconnect after their time apart, allowing his kiss to do what it's always done, center her.

"I love you."

That was all that needed to be said, the two of them turning their focus to the TV. Spencer wasn't surprised at all when Olivia was asleep within the next twenty minutes, but he didn't wake her. He was surprised when he opened his eyes an hour later and saw that their children had joined them on the couch, all of them touching some part of either one of their parents. He just shifted Aaliyah up higher on the couch, pulled the blanket up higher on Isaiah, and moved SJ's head from behind the couch cushion before allowing himself to drift back into unconsciousness, content to spend the night with the people that mean the most to him.
