A/N: Had a conversation about how people display the five love languages and this was born from it. Hope you all enjoy!

Gift Giving

It was a common occurrence to see athletes running from place to place on the GAU campus. So, when Spencer James came sprinting from the athletic annex to the rec center, no one batted an eye. When he passed the science building and cut across the field towards the fine arts building, no one was bothered to see what he was in such a hurry to get to. He slid to a stop in front of the communications department, hunching over to try and catch his breath before glancing at his watch to see if he'd made it on time. He reached into the backpack he had on his back and pulled out the flowers that he'd made sure not to destroy on his way over and slipped the card on top of them before placing them in the spot that his girl always sat at to wait for him after he class.

He quickly himself to the best of his ability and waited for her to see them. He watched as she walked out of the building laughing with one of her classmates as her eyes landed on the flowers. She quickly looked around for her boyfriend but settled for reading the card once she couldn't see him.

Spencer smiled as he watched her face break into that soft look and smile that was reserved for him before quickly hurrying back to the beach house to take a shower and change his clothes.

Acts of Service

Spencer James was a familiar sight in the kitchen at the Baker household but on this particular day he'd prepared enough food for an army. He knew that Liv, Patience, Layla, and Coop were all extremely busy, so he'd had Jordan let him into the house, he really needed to get his key back from Liv, and started preparing some of their favorite foods. He'd finally had everything finished when he heard the door open and four tired voices pour into the home.

"What's that smell?" Coop asked as she let her nose lead her to the kitchen.

Spencer stood at the sink, washing the last of the dishes as the girls entered the room. He dried his hands before silently passing Coop a plate and nodding towards the food he'd made. She didn't need to be told twice, hugging him before making her plate. Layla and Patience followed Coop's example and went straight for the food.

"What is all of this?" Liv asked as she hugged him tight.

"I know you all have been working really hard, so I thought this was something nice to do for you all." Spencer explained as he led Olivia towards the table.

He watched as they all dug into the food before the sound of his alarm going off caused them to look at him.

"The cake is done." He said with a smirk as he glanced at Olivia, knowing she wasn't going to want to share.

Quality Time

Liv was typing furiously on her laptop, that was the most prominent noise in the room. Spencer sat on the floor in front of her working on his own assignments, not wanting to disrupt her but also wanting to be in her presence he'd chosen to sit in front of her and listen to her rant about her assignments while he worked on his own. It wasn't always easy to find time to spend together so he made sure that every night they were in the same bed and any chance he had to spend time with her, he took. Even if it meant they were just doing homework.

Words of Affirmation

Olivia was normally confident about her work, but this was her biggest article yet. With her senior year coming to an end, she had to nail this and she couldn't afford to start doubting herself now. She'd spent more than enough time on her pity party and decided that she needed the proper motivation to get this article done. It took one call to Spencer to get her back on track, he always seemed to know what to say.

"You've put your entire essence into this piece. You and I both know how valuable your work is and if you believe in it, if you say that this is your best work, that'll translate to whoever is reading it. Don't doubt yourself and what you are capable of, you're incredible Liv, and so is your work."

Just like that, all of those pieces are put back together again.

Physical Touch

It was as small as passing her in the kitchen and placing his hand on her back. It was as sweet as waking her up to kisses instead of her alarm. It was a reassuring as the warm hugs and soft eyes that were reserved for her and her alone. At any opportunity that he could, Spencer was showing his love and attention by touching her. He would hold her hand when they walked from place to place. He would kiss her cheek before they went their separate ways. He would stay up after a long day of practice, classes, and film to completely overwhelm her senses by making love to her. His touch was always passionate, it was always intentional, it was always made just for her. There was never a doubt in Liv's mind of his love for her, he'd always made sure to show her how important and loved she is, but that never stopped her from enjoying the physical reminders of his love, or stopped him from giving them.
