Where do I even begin: It's been HARD to find the motivation to complete these one shots. I have so many unfinished drafts that are just waiting for that next wave of inspiration to hit so they can be published, not sure if all of them we'll make the cut but maybe I'll post the unfinished ones too.

Spencer was shocked out of his sleep by the feeling of something poking his face. He opened one of his eyes to see his only daughter had somehow escaped from her room and made her way into his bed, now demanding attention from him.

"Li, how did you get in here?" Spencer grumbled as he wiped the sleep from his eyes.

"Bubby! He help me out and then we come here to sleep wit you." Aaliyah whispered as she nuzzled against his chest. "You was alone Daddy, we thought you be sad."

Spencer smiled at his daughter and glanced to the side of the bed that would usually hold Olivia to see that SJ was still asleep but had made himself at home in his parents' bed.

Olivia had been gone the past few days to a conference in Arizona. This was the first time that she'd left her children for an extended period of time and both SJ and Aaliyah were handling her absence well, Spencer on the other hand, was going nuts trying to handle both of his rambunctious children and maintain his football training schedule. His wife made it look easy, the whole work and kids' thing. She never seemed frazzled or overwhelmed and here he was, four days in and losing his mind.

Spencer was broken from his thoughts by the sound of a stomach growling so loud that SJ was woken from what was a peaceful slumber.

"You hungry baby girl?" Spencer asked with a chuckle before he scooped both of his children up off of the bed and hoisted them over his shoulders as he jogged down the stairs, smiling at the giggling that was coming from the two of them.

He sat them both at the table, turning on the television to keep their attention away from how long it was going to take him to finish their food. His children were broken from their trance by the sound of an iPad ringing. Only a few people would call them directly, their grandparents, Uncle Jordy, or their Mom.

SJ scrambled to grab his iPad and immediately began to smile.

"Hi Mama!" SJ squealed into the phone.

"Hi, my handsome boy, I miss you so much." Liv returned, her joy transferring through the phone.

"Down. Down please." Aaliyah called out to Spencer, kicking her feet to be set free from her seat so she too could talk to her mother. Spencer gently placed her on the floor and laughed as she stood right in front of the camera, blocking SJ's view of Olivia and standing so close that all Olivia could see was Aaliyah's forehead.

"Mama! Mama, hi!" Aaliyah called out, frowning when SJ pulled the iPad further away but grinning when she was able to see Olivia's full face.

Olivia's enthusiasm didn't waver as she greeted her baby girl, laughing as her children tried to talk over one another to tell her all the things she'd missed while she was away.

Spencer was used to being the parent that was catching up via facetime so to see how excited both his wife and his children looked at seeing each other, he knew he had to pull of the most epic surprise of his life.

Spencer had booked the flight, secured the hotel, and packed the suitcases for what would be the most stressful flight of his life. He had never traveled with the kids without Olivia. Sure, she'd packed both kids up to come visit him at away games every now and then, but he never had to do the job of making sure both of his children and all of their belongings got to the airport and onto the plane in one piece. He was seriously starting to believe that his wife would always be better than he was at this parenting thing because they haven't even made it through security yet and his son was complaining about being hungry while his daughter whined about having to walk.
