Olivia's eyes scrunched up after being assaulted by the sunlight that was peaking through her window, she had meant to close the curtains before she went to sleep but exhaustion must have one the battle last might. She reached her arm out behind her, hoping to make contact with her husband, frowning when she met cold sheets instead of his warm body.
She sat up, stretching her limbs, and couldn't hide the frown on her face at waking up alone.
"Mommy! You're awake!" Aaliyah exclaimed as she climbed into her parent's bed to cuddle her mother. Olivia held onto her baby girl, knowing that soon their peaceful bubble would be burst by one of her sons wanting her attention too.
"How'd you sleep?" Olivia asked as she ran her hand up and down her daughter's back, unintentionally lulling her back towards unconsciousness.
"Good."
Liv chuckled at the sound of Aaliyah's voice; someone was still tired.
"Is Bubby up?" Liv asked, not surprised when Aaliyah snored in response.
"Hi mama." SJ said as he sleepily padded into the room while holding onto Isaiah's hand.
Before Olivia could return the sentiment, both of her boys were crawling into her bed and finding a spot close to her so that they too could cuddle with their mother. Normally Olivia would be scrambling to get up and tend to the tasks she had to complete for the day but when her babies were all cuddled against her, all slowly fading back into their sleep, how could she be worried about a schedule?
Olivia herself was falling back into her slumber when the last piece of their James family puzzle made himself known from the doorway.
"I was coming up here to tell everyone that they could eat but it looks like its nap time." Spencer spoke softly so he wouldn't disturb the tranquility of the quiet room.
Olivia smiled as she looked down at their babies, "It started out as mommy/daughter cuddles and then turned into me being used as a personal pillow for all three of our children."
"I'm going to put the food away, we can try breakfast again after the gremlins are awake." Spencer said before heading downstairs again.
Once Spencer returned, he too made his way into bed but unlike his children, he didn't use Olivia as a pillow. He gently pulled Olivia onto his body, shifting his children along with her, giving his wife a place to rest as he took on the weight of his family.
Olivia relaxed, letting his heartbeat lull her into rest, fighting her sleep every time her eyes closed.
"It's okay Liv, you can go to sleep." Spencer murmured, "We could all use some more sleep today."
As his children slept soundly, all making contact with some part of their mother, Spencer couldn't help but smile, all of his children took after him, all three of them were obsessed with their mother.
----
"Daddy, wake up." Aaliyah poked him in his face, causing Spencer to open his eyes.
"Hi." She offered with a big smile.
"Hi ladybug, what's going on?" He asked, stifling a yawn.
"I'm hungry." She offered with a bashful smile.
Spencer didn't hesitate to get out of bed and scoop up his daughter before making the journey to the kitchen once again.
He knew that this time he'd be joined by all of his kids at some point but for now, he had to feed the child that had an appetite most similar to her mother's.
Spencer started her out with fruit, so he had time to warm up the food, only to be stopped by a small body ramming into his legs, wrapping their arms around his legs and then attempting to stick their head between them.
"Zay, what are you doing man?" Spencer chuckled. He scooped his youngest up off of the floor and tossed him over his shoulder.
"Hi Daddy!" Isaiah greeted him with laughter.
Spencer placed him at the table next to Aaliyah and gave him his own fruit to keep him occupied.
Once breakfast was all ready to be served, Spencer heard the sound of someone else coming down the stairs. SJ rounded the corner, greeting his father before taking a seat next to his brother. Spencer plated up the food, serving all three children, before working on Olivia's plate, knowing she'd resurface soon. He leaned against the kitchen island, laughing with his kids as they ate.
"Daddy, do you want some?" Aaliyah asked as she held her fork towards his face.
Spencer smiled, "No thank you ladybug, I'm waiting for mommy to come down and then I'll eat." Spencer explained.
Olivia made her way into the kitchen, walking up behind Spencer, and wrapped her arms around his waist. She placed her chin onto his shoulder, looking at their children from her spot against his back.
Spencer slid her plate and his own in front of him, and they silently agreed to eat exactly where they were at, loving the view of their family, and not wanting to separate from their embrace.
"Do you ever think about how perfect our life is?" Olivia whispered into his ear.
Spencer glanced at their children before turning his face so he was eye to eye with her, "Every single day." He responded before kissing her lips.
They were broken from their bubble by their children asking them both for different things, but they both knew in that moment that they were truly living the life of their dreams.

So, I wrote another book! It's another one shot series but it isn't focused on one couple or ship. It can be hard to find stories about some of the couples/ships that I like so I decided that there should be a place for them, and that place is my new book!
Snippet from The Memory Dump:
"He's going to wear a hole into the carpet if we don't stop him." Mary Ann whispered as she and Rocky peeked into the room to watch Adonis continue to spiral.
Rocky took in the sight of one of the most confident men he knew, he was still the same man but if someone didn't stop him soon, he'd scare himself out of the best day of his life.
Turning to face Mary Ann, Rocky softly smiled. "I have an idea."
