2 months passed...
Nothing much has happened these past 2 months other than the prepping of the wedding. My mother and I almost had everything done with the help of Busi. She has been a great help. She found a venue for us and also the best catering company that would cater on the day of the wedding. I loved the venue since it was close to the sea. The reception was going to be held outside and it was going to be in the evening. During that time we had been busy with the invitations, I had thought it would be nice if we did an evening wedding with all those lights outside. Even as I pictured it now I got excited because of how it was going to look like. It was going to be exceptionally beautiful on that day. The service that was going to be held in church, was going to start at 5pm on the dot. Isiqhamo was also helping with the wedding. She was the one who was helping me with the design the look of the reception. The worst case scenario would be if it ended up raining on the day of the wedding. I was crossing my fingers as I begged the heavens daily to not let that happen because it would be a disaster. The king's cousins who didn't have girlfriends were going to be the groomsmen. Their names were Ludwe, Sangiwe and Unathi. Apparently they were the youngest out of all the cousins. I only met them once. I was letting the king handle everything that had to do with them. Like taking them to do their fittings and everything. My friends were very happy and ecstatic with their dresses. Which was no surprise since I chose the design with them in mind. My wedding dress was already ready but I asked the seamstress to keep it in store for me since I had nowhere to put it at home. I was absolutely in love with it bethu. The seamstress hadn't disappointed me at all. I loved how It hugged my body and only flared at the bottom. I loved the material and style. Bethu I loved everything about it. The king's attire was also ready. Actually everyones attire was ready which included my parents' and also the maid of honor's attires. My maid of honor was Isiqhamo. She volunteered herself. Well...I wouldn't even say that since she more like declared she was my maid of honor. She was like "I'm your maid of honor ke sisi." And I was like "Okay." And that was it basically. What was left for us to do wasn't a lot. Was just a few small things, one of them being the choreography for that day. My friends and I were working on it. Believed or not, I was more excited for that part since I loved dancing and was pretty good at it. The king wasn't happy though which was not a surprise. Every time I brought it up he would groan and complain like there was no tomorrow. He said no matter what happened, that the moves he was going to do needed to be simple and little as possible.
There was word going around that I thought myself as being better than other people. Apparently since I never showed up to any of meet ups with the women, trash talk was being said about me. And the fuel instigator of all that was that bitch Hlumelo. To be honest, I didn't care what they said about me. I still wasn't going to go and that's what I also told Yolanda. They all could go and kill themselves for all I care. Tshini le! What's their problem? Aren't they getting used to me ugly? As if I'm marrying for them. But in any case, I was ready for them shame. They had better prepare themselves. I had met up though two times with Palesa for lunch. She was really nice. I liked her and what I liked the most about her is that she never said a word about the other women and what was being discussed about me. She never gossiped which told me that she genuinely wanted to be my friend. We were becoming close...me and her. She loved talking about her husband and their two sons though which I didn't mind at all since I also loved talking about my man too. Dr. Nongogo has been urging and bugging me nonstop about bringing the king to our therapy sessions so she could meet him. I've been holding it off. I don't know why. About 2 weeks ago though I finally decided to tell the king. He didn't say anything but he did get a certain look on his face. When I asked him about it, he just brushed me off saying it was nothing and I let it go. He told me that he'll tell me when he's ready to meet with Dr. Nongogo. And yesterday that day finally came. He told me next week Wednesday he'll be joining in on my session.
