Steve was waiting downstairs when I walked down in my formfitting white dress that had a floral print on it, spaghetti straps and hit about the knee. I wore my hair swept to the side and the girls did my make up for me. Steve stood up when he saw me and I smiled at his black suit, white button up and black tie.
"You look amazing." Steve said and I smiled walking up to him and I smiled.
"You don't look so bad yourself." I said and toyed with Steve's tie and he huffed a laugh.
"We should go." Steve said and I smiled as he took my hand.
"Wait!" Morgan yelled and we stopped. She motioned for Steve to lean down to whisper something in his ear. He leaned back up smiling and handed Pepper his phone.
"Morgan would like a picture of her Aunt Hazel and Uncle Steve." Steve said and I smiled at Morgan. Steve placed his arm around my waist and I did the same to him. Once Pepper took the picture, sending it to herself, she handed Steve his phone back. I leaned down and kissed Morgan's cheek and we headed out of the house. Steve walked me to a car that was parked and opened my car door.
"You still like Italian right?" Steve asked and I gave a small laugh.
"Still my favorite." I said and Steve nodded as I got in the car. Once we pulled out onto the road he grabbed my hand and held on to it the whole drive. Once we arrived at the restaurant we got out and headed inside once we ordered and Steve got me some wine and him a beer. Once we got our drinks he lifted his glass as a toast and I lifted mine.
"To us, finally being back together." Steve said and I smiled. We clinked glasses and I took a drink.
"This is amazing Steve, thank you." I said and he slightly shook his head.
"Hazie, you don't have to thank me for taking you out. You are my best girl and of course I would take you out." Steve said. He leaned across the table and kissed me as the waitress arrived to take out orders. After we finished dinner and sat talking about old times and laughing Steve paid the bill and we left.
"Ready to head back?" Steve asked and I shook my head.
"I was hoping you would say that. I have somewhere to take you." Steve said and I smiled. Once we arrived at the building I looked at Steve.
"It looks closed..." I trailed off as Steve got out and helped me out of the car. He held my hand as we walked up to the door and he knocked. The security guard came walking over and opened the door smiling.
"Captain Rogers." The older guard said and gave a slight nod.
"Hey Stan, you sure this is okay?" Steve asked and the guard nodded.
"Of course it is, it's for you after all. It's all set up." Stan, the guard said.
"Perfect. Oh yeah, Stan, this is Hazel." Steve said introducing us and I shook his hand.
"Nice to meet you." Stan said and I smiled.
"Same to you." I said and Steve smiled at me.
"Ready?" Steve asked and I nodded. We headed further into the building and before we turned the corner Steve looked at me.
"Before you see what I am about to show you just know I didn't want this but I want you to see it." Steve said and I gave a small laugh and Steve then walked us around the corner and I stood in shock.
"Steve..." I said and he sighed.
"Yeah they made a Captain America part of the museum." Steve said and I gave a small laugh. We started walking around hand in hand. I then saw the film roll of footage from him fighting and sighed.
