Chapter 25 - FINAL

*****1 month later*****

I was staying at Pepper and Tonys the night before the wedding and I was so just so ready to get married. I woke up the next morning and ate breakfast that Pepper made and watched the wedding set up. We were getting married overlooking the lake. Tony had gotten us a flower arch and tons of flowers which matched my colors of burgundy and navy blue. Chris was getting ready with Bucky, Tony and Sam at our house. Nat, Wanda, Pepper, Morgan and I were all getting ready here. I was standing with my arms crossed watching the crew set up everything. I felt someone place their hands on my shoulders.

"Make-up and hair team just got here." Pepper said and I nodded and walked in the house. I had been silent most of the morning just nervous. As I sat getting my make up done Nat walked over and handed me a glass of whiskey.

"Nat, it's 11am." I said and she laughed.

"And you need to calm down." Nat said and I sighed knowing she was right. Once my hair and make-up was finished I heard the guys come in the house downstairs. I was about to get in my dress so I was in a robe.

"What are they doing here?! They are early." I said and Nat groaned.

"I got this." Nat said and headed down the stairs and I heard her talking to the guys. She came up and quickly closed the door.

"Steve is scared and wants to talk to you but he doesn't want to see you." Nat said and I smiled.

"Where is he?" I asked.

"Outside the door." Nat said. I walked over to the door and opened it slightly and reached my hand out staying hidden Steve grabbed it and kissed my hand.

"What's wrong Steve?" I asked and he sighed.

"I just felt like you felt overwhelmed and I needed to know this is still the wedding you want." Steve said and I smiled.

"Steve as long as you are the groom at the end of the aisle under the flower arch, this is the wedding I want." I said and he felt him relax instantly.

"I want to give you a kiss so bad." Steve said and I laughed.

"Can I trust you to keep your eyes closed?" I asked.

"Of course." Steve said and I opened the door more and peeked seeing his eyes closed. I placed a hand on the back of his neck and pulled him down to me. I gave him a small gentle kiss and then went back behind my door.

"There, that's all you get right now." I said and Steve huffed a laugh.

"That's perfect. See you soon." Steve said and I heard him head back downstairs. I shook my head and looked at the girls in the room with me and they laughed.

"That man worries too much." I said and they laughed. Once they all got dressed they helped me get in my dress. I was in a tea length satin lace overlay dress, that had a see-through cap sleeves and a lace up back in white. I smiled knowing it was perfect for the small wedding. I wore my hair wavy and half up with some flowers in my hair and no veil. Once we got ready there was another knock on the door and Pepper opened it to see Tony standing there. He saw me and in took a sharp breath.

"Hazel, you look beautiful." Tony said and I smiled.

"Thank you Tony." I said and he looked at everyone else.

"Nat, Steve is ready to get lined up." Tony said and Nat smiled, kissed my cheek and head downstairs. I looked at Wanda, Pepper and Morgan.

"Ready?" I asked and they nodded excited. They all headed down the stairs and Tony waited for me as I did one last check in the mirror.
