Chapter 24

A month later I was sitting in the house planning the wedding and getting things picked out while Steve went out and picked up take out. Nat and Bucky were coming over to help and for dinner. As I was looking at pictures of wedding dresses I heard a car pull in my driveway but no one came in. I got curious thinking something was wrong so opened the door and saw Nat and Bucky sitting in the car they drove kissing. I smiled and walked up to the car and knocked on the window scaring them both. Nat rolled down the passenger door window where I was standing.

"When you two are done sucking face, you are more than welcome to come in and explain to me when this happened." I said and Bucky shook his head.

"Must you Hazel?" Bucky said and I smiled.

"Must I what? You are in my driveway." I said as we all laughed and they got out of the car. I hugged Nat and then moved to Bucky and hugged and kissed his cheek. We all walked inside.

"So, since when?" I asked and Nat sighed.

"About 3 months ago." Nat said and I looked at them in shock.

"3 months! Were you ever going to tell me?!" I asked.

"We were but we were just keeping it to ourselves not to jinx it." Bucky said and I asked.

"Wait until Steve hears." I said and smiled.

"Hears what?" Steve asked coming in the door with the food. I looked at Bucky and Nat who were sitting on the couch together and Nat took Bucky's hand. Steve noticed when he walked in and just smiled.

"I knew it." Steve said and I looked at him.

"You knew?!" I asked.

"Yeah, I caught them making out in the gym 2 weeks ago." Steve said and I laughed.

"I caught them making out in the driveway." I said and Steve smiled.

"Were we that bad?" I asked.

"Yes!" Bucky said and we laughed as Steve leaned down to where I was sitting in the chair and kissed me.

"You guys ready to eat?" Steve asked and we all nodded. I clean up my wedding stuff from the coffee table. I dropped some papers and Steve picked them up.

"Dresses." Steve said and I groaned taking them from him.

"You don't get a say in that." I said and Steve smiled. I put the papers on the desk in the living room and then headed into the kitchen to get plates. I walked back out and Steve looked at me and smiled.

"It's your question to ask." I said causing Nat and Bucky to look at us oddly.

"Let's ask him first." Steve said and I nodded.

"Bucky...." I said in a cute voice I always used to get what I wanted and he groaned but smiled.

"Oh god." Bucky said and I laughed.

"Steve and I couldn't stop arguing about where you belonged in the wedding and who's side you would be on. We both love you so much Bucky and we need you to be included on the big day." I said and Steve nodded and took my hand.

"Buck, would you be willing to get ordained and marry us?" Steve asked and I smiled. Bucky smiled.

"Nothing would make me happier." Bucky said and I hugged him and Steve shook his hand. I looked at Steve and half nodded.

"Now on to my next question..." Steve said and turned to look at Nat.

"What?" Nat asked.

"Nat before Bucky arrived you were the closest thing I had to a best friend. You were willing to hear all my stories about Hazel and Bucky, even when we found Bucky you were always there. It's really no shock now that you two got together. Any way Nat, I was wondering if you would be willing to stand next to me as my Best Woman so to speak while I get married?" Steve asked and Nat smiled.
