Rita's POV

Gahd, ang tagal naman nina Badette. We have to buy something pa for Ken eh.

Halos isang oras na yata akong naghihintay dito sa may lobby ng condo ko. Nagtext kasi si Badette kanina na dito na lang daw niya ako susunduin dahil dadaanan din daw niya si Gerlie at gusto daw sumama eh malapit lang sa amin si Gerlie nakatira.

Maya-maya pa ay I saw them walking towards me.

"Wow akala ko isang taon na akong maghihintay dito sa lobby" bungad ko sa kanila sabay beso-beso sa cheeks.

"Sorry na Ta. Ang tagal kasi magbihis nitong si Gerlie oh. Tara na, saan tayo una?"

"Ahmm pick-upin muna natin yung isa sa pinakaimportanteng gift ko for him. I know that he loved it ever since. So dahil Christmas naman, well, late na nga actually eh, gagastos na rin ako for him"

"Wow magkano budget mo for a Christmas gift?"

"Ahmm parang gusto ko ngang ibigay na lang lahat sa birthday niya eh. Pag-isipan ko pa pero kukunin ko na yung isa ngayon kasi para mabalot ko na at malaki-laki eh"

Then we're off to the shop. It's what we call the galaxy store, kung saan nagbebenta sila ng mga astronomical gadgets from cute binoculars to planet models to enormous telescopes.

And this latter ang gift ko sa kanya. 

Naalala ko pa dati nung nagkakakwentuhan kami sa set ng My Special Tatay, hindi pa kami close nun eh pero nabanggit niya sa akin that he really loves telescopes. Ewan baka frustrated astronomist siya or astronaut siya sa past life niya hahaha.

At ito naman yung namana ni Dani from her because Dani loves space and the planets and the constellations. Favorite place niya nga mga space museums, aside from painting galleries.

I reached for the telescope. It's quite heavy pero gusto kong ako mismo ang magbitbit nito.

"Thank you ha" I replied to the staff.
