Chapter 4

It has been about a month since my random hook up with Hazel. Basically everything still reminds me of her. Hell, this random tree we drove by today reminded me of her. The bark on the tree reminded me of the color of her hair.

I'm not sure why I'm still thinking about her though. She hasn't even that huge impact on my life. We have only met twice; once was at the bar, and then the second time was a shag. I'm starting to think that what might intrigue the most about her is her mysterious side and her lack of interest in me. Everyone has always wanted to throw themselves at me. Not her though...I wanted to know more.

But, the thought of never actually seeing her again tests my thoughts. At the beginning of the month my thoughts' always whirled around her, but now I might only think about her once or twice a day. Maybe it is just best to forget about her, I mean what are the odds that we will ever even talk again.

-------

Like I said a month has gone by. The boys and I are on the road to California. We are currently in the state that claims to be the potato state. Not sure which state that is, but it has Niall all excited about potatoes.

All of us were gathered in the main room watching The Goonies. I wasn't really paying too much attention. I was on my laptop going through different things on reddit. It was a pretty chill evening.

I really enjoyed evenings like these. It feels like we are just a normal group of guys' not international sensations. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love my job, but every now and then it feels nice to have a breather from all the fame that we receive.

I was so completely distracted with my computer I didn't realize that my phone was going off.

"Harry are you going to answer that?" Louis said pointing to my phone on the other side of the room.

"Nah, I will let it go to voicemail. I'm feeling too lazy to get up." I said

"Whatever, I will go answer it." Louis said getting up.

"No Lou you don't have to." But it was too late because he already answered the phone and pressed it to his ear.

"Hello Harold's phone." Louis said through the phone.

"No you can't talk to him he is busy. I will let him know you called." Louis said through the phone.

"Who was it?" I asked.

"She didn't say. She just said that she might call you later. "Louis said sitting back down on the sofa.

"Oh....ok then." I said looking back at the computer.

"Oh, and she also said that she still really doesn't like your mop top that you call hair." Louis said snickering.

I had to think a second at the stranger's choice of words. However, almost instantly, I remembered at the bar she hated my hair.

"What the hell Louis! You should have given me the phone! It was her!" I said instantly springing up out of my spot on the couch and raced over to the phone.

Everyone gave me a funny look, but I just ignored them and grabbed my phone and went towards the back of the bus where we had our bunks to sleep in at.

"Good grief you're a pain in the ass. You should have gotten up and answered it yourself. Don't blame me." Louis said stretching out on the couch.

I had a feeling that it was Hazel who had just called me. The moment I really start to stop thinking about her, she calls. Of course she did. It's like she had some sort of a sensor tracking my mind.
