Chapter 14

With every ones help we had the room I attempted to destroy was pretty much picked up. Actually I didn’t help that much. I sat in the corner resting my head on my hands and thinking about how Hazel is always messing with my mind. One second I feel like she likes me back then the next second she wants nothing to do with me. During a majority of the boy’s clean up session of my mess the would nudge me and tell me to cheer up because we now actually get to spend some time together, and how they will do everything possible to help me forget about her.  Each attempt the made no progress. I just kept feeling terrible about everything.

“Ok, I think that just about does it. Harry get your scrawny ass up off the floor so we can go now.” Louis said kicking me lightly with his foot.

I stood up slowly, still in distraught over my current wave of emotions. All the boys looked in my eyes. They had a look of sympathy towards me, deep down they knew I was hurting.

“Guys, I think I’m just going to go home. I don’t feel too well.” I said rubbing the back of my head.

“Bullshit! You just want to go home and throw yourself a pity party and get drunk. Nope, not going to happen.” Louis said grabbing me by the arm and pulling me along.

“But Lou! “I whined.

“I don’t care, just the other day you were complaining to me how you missed all of us spending time together, and you just said the same thing today. So come on, off to the bar we go my friend.”  Louis said.

“Come one guys.” I complained again.

“Harry just shut up already!” Zayn snapped.

“Just quit fighting it.” Liam said.

“I know this great place that serves the best pints and it’s just around the block.” Niall said leading the way.

We were at the bar in about 10 minutes. I was basically dragged there the entire time. I really didn’t want to go out any more with my band mates. I knew that the entire time they were going to ask about Hazel, or talk about their relationships. At the moment those were two things I wanted long gone from my mind.

Once we were in the bar we got a booth that was near the middle of the bar. As soon as we entered all eyes went on us. It was something we were used to. Actually this was something that I was more accustomed to. The way every woman looks at you with hungry eyes. Thinking all the dirty thoughts on what they want to do with you as soon as you take them home. Women’s looks are often deceiving; I say that because you can never actually know what is going on in that head of theirs besides the sex part.

All of the boys seemed to ignore everyone and their ways that they were that they were looking at us. I however could not. Not only were the women staring at us, but the men too. Whenever I went to the bar alone, I was often over looked by everyone but the women who only wanted a quick one night stand. This time, the men were looking at me. With their balled up fists, the look in their eyes hinted that they wanted to fight whoever wanted to cross their paths.

I have never quite observed just how hostile a bar could actually be. I always had one objective whenever I came to these establishments, and that was to get drunk enough to forget the pain of loneliness for the night. Most of the time it worked, that was until tonight when I was stood up by the girl I was starting to care for, even though she didn’t quite feel the same in return.

“Harry want do you want from the bar?” Zayn asked as I slid over by the wall of the booth that Liam and I were about to share.

“I don’t care; just get me two of the strongest thing you can find.” I mumbled.
