Chapter 9

It was growing near 7 o’clock. I decide it was now or never to finally start getting ready for whatever Hazel in store for the two of us. To say I was excited to spend more time with Hazel tonight was an understatement. I certainly was surprised that she wanted to see me this soon. Normally trend with her was that we wait a few days or weeks when she decides to spring back into my life. But hey, I’m not complaining.

Zayn told Perrie what had happened with Hazel. I was still a bit pissed off at him for the two of them kissing, but like he said we aren’t dating so I just need to chill. Then for the fact that Zayn felt like crap about himself afterwards made me slightly feel a bit better.

I guess Zayn and Perrie are back to together from what I could tell. There was a lot of yelling done in the other room when Zayn was on the phone with her. I’m guessing she was pissed off. I mean I would be too, but when I asked him how the conversation went he said that she took it surprisingly well and that he was now leaving to go see her. I guessing he was off for the two of them to have make-up sex. I’m not surprised, that’s normally what happens afterwards between the two of them.

It took me about 30 minutes to get ready. I took a shower then fixed my hair. That was really what took the most time. Drying my hair was a bitch. By the time that was completely done it was about 7:35. It took me about 20 minutes to get to Hazel’s house the last time. So if I left now, I should be there really just in the nick of time.

-----

Sure enough I was at Hazel’s house just around 8. I was about to get out the car and go greet her, when she came running out of her house wearing a pair of fishnet stockings, a leather black skirt, a black guns n’ roses tee. Her eye make-up was dark, and her hair was curly.

“Hey wanker.” She said getting into my car.

“Hellooooo. I likkkke your tttt-sssshirt.” Was all I could mumble out. Even though I had just talked to her today, it seemed as if I could only stumble what I wanted to try to say.

“Is there a fish caught in your throat? Speak like a normally human being geez.” Hazel said rolling her eyes.

“Um no, what are we doing tonight?” I coughed adjusting my throat.

“Something fun obviously. So go to the nearest liquor store.” She said pulling out her phone.

“Ok then, can I ask why?”

“Not yet. Just shut up and drive.”

The entire ride to the liquor shop she was texting or messing with someone on her phone. Every now and then she would let out a smile or even a chuckle. I was starting to grow jealous on who this person was and how they managed to make her smile and laugh so easily, something that I really have yet to do to her myself. For the entire ride I don’t even think she looked once until I put my car in park.

“Ok, now I need you to go in and buy two bottles of vodka.” She ordered.

“Do I want to even know why?” I asked.

“Just go buy it, then come back out here and I will explain everything.” She smirked.

“Umm…ok then.” I said slowly getting out of my car.

I made my way into the liquor shop and looked around for the vodka. I still wasn’t sure on why we needed liquor. I preferred to spend my time with Hazel sober, so I could remember everything that happened.

I found the vodka at the back of the store; I grabbed two of the medium sized bottles then proceeded to the checkout. I could see Hazel sitting in my car through the store front window. To the looks of it she was talking on the phone to someone else. She was smiling and laughing again.  A part of me wanted to know who she was talking too, but then a part of me really didn’t care. Sometimes I really didn’t understand my infatuation with her. It changed from day to day. Today was one of the highs, probably since this is the second time I’ve seen her today, something that has never happened before.
