~Scarlet's point of view~

I am freaking out, Cherry went to the snack bar twenty minutes ago and she hasn't returned....I'M REALLY FREAKING OUT!!! I checked everywhere...she was nowhere to be seen. The last place to check was the parking lot, I went out there and saw an astonishing site....Cherry was talking to STEVE RANDLE?!?!? They were near a car and laying on the ground was...Bob? I marched up to them, "Cherry!!! Where have you been?!?! I was worried sick", "I'm sorry...Bob tried to...rape me...and than Steve saved me", "Wow Steve! How many people do you save a week?." He looked at me and smiled, "I save anyone I can", "Well thank you...I mean you saved me and you saved Cherry...I really appreciate it", "It's no problem..", "If it weren't for you....bad things could have happened", "Well I'm glad noting bad happened." We we're all talking when I realized we had to be home at eleven, I checked my watch and sure enough...it was 10:58, "CHERRY WE NEED TO GO NOW", "What? Why?", "IT'S ELEVEN", "OH SHIT YOUR RIGHT." I grabbed Cherry's hand and tried pulling her away but she was still talking to Steve, "CHERRY! Come on!!!", "Okay one sec. Bye Steve...I hope I see you later", "Don't worry...you definitely will." I pulled her away and we started running towards her house, we finally made it and barged inside. Our mom's were both waiting for us, "Scarlet Beatrice Holthouse...you promised me you would be home at eleven", "I know...we were just running late because...it was packed there tonight", "I get it....but please be home at the time I told you to be next time", "Okay I will be." Cherry and I are so lucky that our moms are understanding, we went upstairs to Cherry's room. We both changed into our pajamas and laid on her bed, "So Cherry...I'm sorry about what happened...I'm glad he didn't do anything to you", "Me too...why didn't you tell me he tried to do the same thing to you?", "I didn't want you to think that...he would ever do anything like that." She looked down and than right back up at me, "You were right...Bob Sheldon is a dick...and he isn't worth anything." I laughed and decided to ask her a question that's been on my mind, "So...do you have a thing for Steve Randle?." She blushed and smiled, "I mean...he's really really hot...he wouldn't be with me though, he probably thinks I'm a stuck up prissy snake", "No he doesn't...he probably really likes you."

~Steve's point of view~

I was walking to the Curtis house with adrenaline in my veins, I just saved the most prettiest girl in Tulsa from being raped. Sherri Valance wasn't just a stuck up snob to me..she always seemed different than the other socs. Sure when she was dating Bob she agreed with him that greasers were bad...but I know for a fact...she was just playing an act. I finally made it into the Curtis house, I walked inside and the gang was watching tv, Two-Bit looked up at me, "Where you been Steve?", "Saving lives", "Yeah okay", "No seriously, I just saved Cherry Valance from being raped by Bob." They all looked at me like I was lying, "What do y'all not believe me?." Dally looked at with his cold stare, "I mean...we believe that your lying", " What! Why do y'all not believe me?", "Well because...yesterday you saved Scarlet from Bob...and you had back up", "You think I can't handle a fight on my own?", "I mean...yeah." I was so pissed that they think I can't handle a fight on my own, "You know what...think what you wanna think. Besides Dally your only in a bad mood because you got friend zoned."

~Scarlet's point of view~

Ever since Cherry and Bob broke up both of us have gotten way closer...and I'm not mad at it. Today we're going to the mall, and we're bringing my sister Rose along too. After a twenty minute drive we arrived at Twin Pines mall, this mall is huge. We went shopping in like ten different stores and than we all decided we were hungry, we went to the food court and my sister Rose spoke up, "Hey guys...look over there." Cherry and I looked over and saw some familiar faces, standing on the other side of the food court was....Sodapop, Dally, Ponyboy, and Steve...just great. Of course they are here on the same day we are, I mean I wasn't mad they were here...it's just uncomfortable. Rose knew all about me friend-zoning Dally and Soda, she gave me her mischievous little smile, "I'm gonna go say hi!", "No you ain't", "Why not?", "because two of those boys over there...I friend zoned", "So...the other two you didn't friend zone." She walked over to them and started talking, a few seconds later they all looked at Cherry and I. Rose walked back over to us with a big smile on her face, "Guess what!!! Were eating lunch with them", "WHAT", "Relax Scarlet...all will be good", "yeah we will see about that." We got our food and we all sat at the same table, of course Cherry sat next to Steve, Rose sat next to Ponyboy, and well I got stuck in the middle of Soda and Dally....AWKWARD! After ten minutes of dead silence between the three of us, Dally finally spoke up, "So...how was the movie at the drive in last night?", "Not great." After that it was quiet again...this time I decided to break the silence, "Guys I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make everything awkward between us...", Soda's blue arctic eyes met with mine, "Don't be sorry...besides I should be sorry for acting different yesterday...I shouldn't have tried to act like Dally...it didn't get me very far", "Don't worry about it...I think you pulled it off." He smiled at me and I smiled back, I turned back towards and he was rolling his eyes...why am I not surprised?
