~Scarlet's point of view~

It's the middle of spring..I'm almost done with my senior year of high school. I'm so excited to finish school, I have no idea what I want to do though. It was a warm spring weekend and it was a Saturday night, I was at the drive in with Sodapop, just us...know one else. We were watching the movie when he turned to me, "You wanna go get popcorn with me?","Sure." We walked over and of course there was a long line, Sodapop was acting...strange. His baby blue eyes met with mine, "Scarlet...I love you with all of my heart. I haven't known you that long but your the one...your the one that I want.  You make me so god damn happy...I just can't live without you...please make me the happiest guy on earth and marry me." My heart stopped...did he really just propose? I was literally in shock, he was down on one of his knees looking up at me, "I- YES!!! Yes I will marry you!!." He looked relieved that I had said yes, he stood up and I wrapped my arms around him. My life was just being.

3 years later

It's been three years since I met Sodapop...I'm 19 now and I'm married, I married Sodapop last year. My parents were so happy that Sodapop proposed to me, they thought he was "a good egg." My parents are so understanding and I'm glad I'm close with them. On another note I have some news, Cherry and Steve are engaged!!!! He proposed to her last month, they are definitely meant to be. As for my sister Rose, she finally grew the guts and asked Ponyboy out...there dating. Life turned out to be good in Tulsa, Oklahoma...I am so god damn lucky.

2 years later.

Well, I have been with my soulmate for 5 years...I always knew he was something special. I'm twenty one now and attending college, I'm hoping to become a lawyer...it's my dream. But luckily one of my other dreams came true...to be a mom. Last night I found out I am pregnant..I can't wait to tell Sodapop. I got home from my tedious college classes and went into the kitchen, Sodapop was at the table reading something, "Uh hey honey! Can we talk?", "Well certainly!." He got up and came over and gave me a kiss, "Sodapop...I have a surprise for you", "I love surprises!", "What rhymes with maybe?", "Uh..baby", "Well maybe we're having a baby." He laughed, I don't think he thought I was being serious, "Baby..we're having a baby!", "W-we are?", "Yes, your gonna be a dad!", "I'm gonna be a father!!!."

Six weeks later

Six weeks later. I was at a doctors appointment for my baby, my doctor took an ultrasound and looked at me with a surprised expression, "Mrs. Curtis..I have great news!", "What is it!", "Your having twins!!." I froze...I am gonna have 2 babys at once..at the age of 21.

Later that night. After Sodapop got home I called him into the kitchen, "Hey gorgeous how are you feeling?", "Good...I have to show you something." I pulled out the ultrasound picture and he looked at it, "That's our baby!", "Well your might wanna say baby's..I'm having twins", "Y-y-your having twins?!?", "I guess so", "I'm the luckiest man on earth."

9 months later

After 9 months of being pregnant with twins..I finally had my baby boys. They were gorgeous..they looked just like their father, so that's a good thing. Sodapop and I decided to name them, John Owen Curtis & Mathew Howard Curtis...I just adored these boys. I'm the most luckiest girl in the world.

I'm so lucky that I was able to meet such wonderful people in Tulsa, I'm sad about what happened between Dally and I..but we stayed friends over the years. Life moves pretty fast..if you don't stop and look around once in awhile..you could miss it.
