Persephone woke with her eyes falling on the figure seated in a chair infront of her. "What are you doing?"

Leonidas paused, looking up from the book he was reading, a small smile coming to his lips. "Good morning,"

She smiled too. "Morning."

He raised the book in his hand. "Reading. I found it a bit hard to sleep so I decided to see what you like about them."

She chuckled, "And?"

"It cures boredom until your favourite person wakes up and you want to throw the book to the wall cause you do not really like it," Leonidas said, setting the book down on the table as he walked to the edge of the bed and sat on it, brushing away a strand of hair from her face. "How are my two favorite people doing?"

Persephone knew that he had no idea how those words made her feel but she smiled, bathing in his love. "We are kicking. That is what he is doing and that is why I woke up. With a kick."

Leonidas chuckled. "Want me to punish him?"

Her eyes glazed over. "Are you really about to do that, Leonidas Aetos?"

He only smiled as a reply.

She tried to sit but his hands were already pushing her back. "You should rest."

Persephone raised an eyebrow. "Has Artemis corrupted you?"

"No, of course not," He whispered, taking her hand and placing a kiss on it. "I just realized last night that all the time you were pregnant, you kept taking care of me. You are my goddess Persephone, I think it is time I worship you for a change."

Her heart beat at those words but she did not let it show "Leonidas-"

"I would kiss you to shut you up but I cannot," He cut in. "Just lay down while I care for you? Honestly, Domina, it is not that hard."

And that name.

The way he breathes it.

She swallowed, lying down back as he looked back down at her stomach and touched it, his fingers brushing it so gently she held her breath in fear he would stop. "Hello, agape mou."

By the gods.

Then he bent and kissed it, his hair teasing her stomach before he looked up at her, his green eyes so beautiful she thought she did not deserve to even look at it anymore. "See? I get to actually kiss him."

Persephone knew he was not actually complaining but making a joke and the idea that he was so calm and relax for some reason frightened her.

Leonidas sat up, his eyes alarmed. "A-Are you crying?"

"No," She was brushing it away, taking in a sniff. "It is the hormones and all that." Then she chuckled, reaching out for his face. "You feel so different "

He leant into it. "Is it good?"

"It feels wonderful," She whispered in return.
