*Crime Scene/Nighttime*

The Intelligence Unit was called out after Kim found her boyfriend lying on the floor with two bullets in his chest. The Officer was currently staring, blankly, at her bloodied hands when Trudy came rushing over with a CPD jacket.

"Burgess? Kim? Kim!" She called, placing the protective clothing over the younger woman's shoulders. "Kim, look at me."

"Yeah." The Officer finally responded.

"They got him. His pulse is still steady. You did real good." The Desk Sergeant assured. "What happened?"

"I don't know. I saw his car, his cell phone rang, it brought me here. But I- I- it looks like two small caliber rounds, but I didn't see any shell casings, so I don't really know." Kim explained in a monotonous voice.

She was also completely oblivious to Hank and Ana appearing behind her.

"Hey, Kim." The older man greeted, placing a hand on one of her shoulders.

"Are you all right?" Ana inquired as the younger woman turned to face them.

The Officer had no clue what to say so she just carried on with her recollection of events.

"By the time I got here, the street was completely empty and his car was cold." Kim finished. "So I say that we ping his cell phone, right?"

"Hank." Kate spoke up from behind everyone.

Ana instantly stiffened and perfectly faked withdrawing into herself so no one would suspect anything.

"Because that will let us find out exactly what time he got here." The Officer reasoned.

"All right, we'll do that." Hank nodded.

The older man walked off with Kate and Trudy guided Kim away, leaving Ana there alone. She started walking around the scene and eventually found herself near the victim's car, which Hailey happened to be searching.

"Hey, find anything?" The brunette wondered.

"Yeah, actually. Come over here." The blonde gestured and led the older woman to the trunk of the vehicle.

She shined her flashlight on it and, low and behold, there a was bag stuffed full of cash lying inside.

"Well, that is something." Ana murmured and Hailey smirked in response.

She suddenly directed the flashlight towards something on their right.

"Isn't that the rest of the Team over there?" The Detective inquired.

The brunette looked over and, sure enough, her husband was standing in somewhat of a circle with the rest of the Intelligence Unit.

"Yep." Ana popped the "p" and moved closer to the fence that separated the two groups. "Henry!"

The older man's head instantly whipped up towards the sound of his wife's voice.

"We got something!" Hailey informed, following the other woman's lead.

Everyone immediately rushed over and crowded around, waiting for the two women to speak again.

"There's at least 20k in there." Ana explained.

"All small denominations." The blonde added, shining her flashlight on it once again.

Hank frowned, not at all liking the implications of having that much money on you. He glanced at the brunette and let out a small sigh.

"All right. Well, work your CIs. Reach out to Gangs, Narcotics, farm for witnesses, PODS." The older man ordered. "If they haven't been shot up, we might get lucky."
