*Firehouse 51: Bunk Room*
Kelly and Ana were in the Lieutenant's Office, continuing their search for Carol Spears. Various boxes were stacked in several places throughout the small area while a bunch of files and pieces of paper were scattered around on top of the bed. The two were sat near said piece of furniture and looking through the before-mentioned objects for anything that could help them locate their missing arsonist. They were so emersed in their work that neither person noticed Stella appearing in the doorway.
"You two are still working on the arsonist case?" She wondered.
"Carol Spears. She's in the wind. No sign of her." Kelly muttered, gazing down at her picture pinned to the front of one of the files.
"CPD is involved?" Stella inquired, stepping in a bit more.
"Intelligence Unit is in the middle of something. Voight said to sit tight and trust the process." He replied.
Ana snorted at that.
"Did he really?" She asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, but I figured it had something to do with Chicago's Future Mayor Brian Kelton talking in the background when I called him." Kelly smirked.
"Well, then that would be Henry's way of getting Kelton off my back, yeah." Ana murmured, thoughtfully, glancing at Stella and noticing how confused she was. "My husband and I run the Intelligence Unit together and let's just say he's the extremely overprotective type." The brunette explained.
"Ah, gotcha." She nodded in understanding.
The three lapsed into a small silence. It didn't last long, though, as Kelly broke it a few seconds later.
"This is the last thing I thought would come out of my mouth, but. . . I wish Benny were here." He admitted, gazing softly at his Godmother. "You and him would chew up some ass over at CPD and have half the department in the streets looking for this lady."
"I still could." Ana sighed, placing one of her hands over his. "There's just too many eyes on the unit right now."
"It's okay." Kelly assured. "It's the thought that counts."
An idea suddenly popped into Stella's head.
"Well, I am not half the department, but I'm in." She offered, sitting on the bed to Kelly's right since Ana was on his left and picking up a file. "What are we looking for?"
"No, you don't have to do that, please-" He shook his head.
"I'm helping you. End of story." Stella cut him off, completely.
The Lieutenant glanced back at Ana, who just smiled reassuringly in response.
"Fine." Kelly conceded with a sigh and three got to work.
*A Little While Later*
"Hey, I'm back." Stella greeted as she re-entered the room.
"Hey." Kelly replied, shooting out of his seat and handing her a file. "Take a look."
"All right." She nodded.
"Hubble said that while Carol Spears was married to this guy, uh, Doug Denton, he must've helped her control her compulsion, even if he didn't know anything about her starting fires." The Lieutenant recalled.
