*Outside of Firehouse 51*
A black SUV pulled up on the side of the street and Ana got out. She rounded the car as a window rolled down and she kissed her husband goodbye. The brunette watched Hank drive off before turning towards the building and crossing the street.
Ana, hearing some familiar voices, looked up and caught sight of Matt and Kelly a few feet in front of her. A soft smile graced her features and she quickened her pace to catch up with them. Once the brunette was close enought to hear what they were saying, she faltered a bit and mentally smacked herself for forgetting.
Matt had just revealed that he'd signed the divorce papers so he and Gabby were no longer married.
"Hi, boys." Ana greeted once she right behind them.
Both men probably would've jumped a foot in the air, had they not immediately recognized her voice.
"Hey, Mom." Matt and Kelly smiled, instantly making room for her as she moved in between them.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything but I need to borrow Matt for a bit." The brunette explained as they stepped onto the Apparatus Floor.
"No, you're good." The Lieutenant assured before heading off towards the Locker Room to give them some privacy.
The male Captain watched him go before turning to the older woman.
"What's up?" He wondered.
"You know I was gonna find out about Gabby sooner or later, right?" Ana sighed. "You should've told me."
"Yeah, I know. I just didn't want you to worry." He sighed.
"That's just it, Matt. I wouldn't have." She retorted, making him stop in his tracks and look at her in confusion. "Sure I'd want to make sure you were okay, but I wouldn't get worried unless there was actually something to be worried about."
The male Captain's eyes lit up in understanding and he suddenly felt really guilty.
"I'm sorry, Mom." Matt apologized.
"Don't be." Ana smiled. "Just tell me next time."
"All right." He nodded.
And with that, the two followed in Kelly's footsteps as they walked inside the Firehouse and towards the Locker Room.

Chief and Ana hopped out of the older man's SUV and immediately spotted two ladies, the elder of which was covered in soot.
"Hey." He called, pulling their gazes away from the flaming house. "Anyone inside?"
"My husband, Adam. We had the fireplace going, and then, the wall over the mantle-" The soot covered woman's explanation was cut short by a series of coughs. "It suddenly got really hot, and there was all this smoke."
"It's just your husband and no one else?" Ana asked in confirmation and she shook her head in reply.
"Brett, Foster, we have a smoke inhalation victim here. She needs oxygen." The older man informed via radio.
"On it, Chief." The woman, now dubbed Foster, replied as she appeared and guided the injured female to Ambo 61.
"It's a cracked flue. Fire got in the walls." Chief relayed to all the nearby firefighters.
