A/N This is another Fire episode that I felt the need to include because it's essentially the aftermath of Benny's death. So I hope you like it!

And, as always, please relax and enjoy the read!

P.S Happy Thanksgiving!

*House of Benny Severide*

Kelly and Stella, with the help of the Lieutenant's biological mother, Jennifer Sheridan, were clearing out his father's house. Ana was there, too, but all three refused to let her help despite her repeatedly assuring them that it was fine.

"You've done more than enough for me already. We've got this." Kelly had said while the women nodded in agreement.

Stella was currently near the Living Room and she suddenly turned around after hearing her boyfriend's voice coming from that direction.

". . .No, I already checked the garage." He replied, placing a box on a nearby table as Jennifer appeared behind him.

Ana suddenly gasped from the next room over and walked in with a huge smile on her face.

"Look what I found." She grinned, showing the younger woman a picture of Kelly as a child.

"Aww, check out that handsome mug." Stella teased, taking the photo and flipping it to show the others.

Over the past few months of working together, Ana slowly started to open up to the other female firefighter. Enough to the point where she felt comfortable talking to her openly.

"You box up everything in the file cabinets?" Kelly wondered with a small smile.

"Yeah. I mean, none of it's organized, but hopefully, it has everything you need to settle the estate." Stella replied.

"You didn't happen to find a bronze medal, did you?" Jennifer inquired.

"Um. . ." The younger woman hummed, thoughtfully.

"It'd be in a display box. Carter Harrison Award for Distinguished Service." Kelly supplied.

"Sorry." She shook her head.

"He could have left it with one of his exes." Ana pointed out.

"Hard enough to see those women at the service without having to go to them, hat in hand." Jennifer muttered. "I'd rather just let this go."

"I'll take care of it." Kelly assured.

"Okay." She sighed and walked off, rubbing the back of her head.

"Benny used to talk about being buried with the medal." Ana explained, softly, moving over and placing a hand on the man's arm.

Kelly subtly leaned into the brunette's touch and gave her a grateful look.

"Well, maybe I can help." Stella offered, joining them as well. "I mean, you two already have enough going on."

"It's fine." He whispered.

"Kelly. Will- will you let me help you with this? Please?" She begged.

The man conceded with a nod.

"Okay." Stella murmured, looking down as her watch beeped. "Oh. Look. I got to get in for shift, but, um, I'll check in later, okay?"

She placed the picture of young Kelly in a box and walked off. He just stood there for a moment and silently glanced at Ana. The brunette merely  smiled and opened her arms for a hug which the younger man gladly accepted.
