Ana and Kelly were still in the OFI Breifing Room, looking for anything that could help them find Carol, when the brunette's phone went off. She pulled it out and sighed at what was on the screen.

"Case?" The Lieutenant inquired with a knowing smirk.

"Yep." She muttered, repocketing the device and standing up straight.

"Go." He urged. "I think we can manage until you come back."

Ana smiled and pulled the younger man in for a hug.

"I just hope you stay safe until I do." The brunette murmured.

"No promises." Kelly replied, using her own response against her.

She just let out a small laugh as they seperated and gave her Godson one last glance before leaving the room.

Ana entered the building and Trudy looked up from the front desk, eyes widening in anger as she spotted her best friend's face. The brunette just gave her a pointed look and the Desk Sergeant buzzed her in, knowing she would hear an explanation from the cops above soon enough. Ana walked through the gate and up the stairs, mentally preparing herself for the scene that was about to unfold.

The Intelligence Unit had all been watching Hailey as she moved over to the whiteboard and taped a photo onto it. Everyone, including the blonde, looked over at the new arrival and stiffened at what they saw.

Hank was coming out his Office and he stopped dead in his tracks, gaze darkening instantly at the sight of the bruise marring his wife's left cheek.

"Had an unfortunate encounter with an arsonist earlier, but I'm fine." Ana assured, stopping next to her husband and turning to face Hailey. "So, what do we have?"

The blonde hesistated and glanced at Hank, along with the rest of the Team. They all held their breath as they awaited his response but the older man stared down at the brunette for a little while longer. She just smiled up at him and grabbed his hand, giving it a small comforting squeeze. The male Sergeant eventually pried his gaze away from his wife and nodded.

"Hugo Campos, 17 years old. Moved to Pilsen a year ago with his mother." Hailey reported. "Clean sheet. No disciplinary issues."

"Gang affiliation?" Ana wondered.

"Uh, we're not sure. Talked to a few CI's, but nobody knew him." Antonio replied.

"All right, who runs the tip where the kid got gunned down?" Hank inquired and if there was a slight undertone of anger to his voice, no one questioned it.

"His name is Derrick Winslow. He calls the shots in that area. He's real slick, low key, doesn't touch his product at all." Kevin informed while Hailey moved to put up a picture of the African American right next to Hugo's. "His cousin also got lit up last month. Word on the street is a Mexican gang had something to do with it."

"So maybe this was retaliation." Jay chimed in from his desk.

"Kevin, you got an idea where to find this shot-caller?" Hank wondered.

"I can put some pressure on my CI." He offered.

"Good." Ana smiled. "Do it."

Everyone scrambled around to carry out their orderes while Hank merely looked down at his wife again.

"So, any idea where I can find this arsonist and have a little chat with him?" He prodded, gently.

"Unfortunately, not." The brunette sighed, gesturing to her face. "This was how she got away."
